Kukkilinnu Beach Granary

Kukkilinnun ranta-aitta offers a night's stay in a peaceful environment in the heart of nature along the Pielisjoki river. The best way to get there is by car, but also by bike or by water. The granary is located in the courtyard of the house, but in its own peace. On the wall of the granary there is a carving depicting birds of prey, which originates from the old residential house of the farm. The hillbird, or Karelian grouse, is known as a symbol of happiness, which generally symbolizes light, warmth and harvest. The flower bird is also a metaphor for love.

Book now! We live permanently on the shore of Haukivesi. Here you can sauna, swim, and also have a peaceful night's sleep, accommodation 2 rooms 13 and 7 m2 heating/cooling, refrigerator, microwave, electric plate, toaster, coffee maker and kettle. Dishes and utensils needed for dining. Beds including sheets and towels. The washing machine €5/wash also includes washing and rinsing agents. You will have access to a shower, sink and compost toilet, a rowboat and 2 canoe boards. In addition, a hot tub/barrel is 50€/stay.

Alapihan Arboretum guest house with sauna

Cozy guest house and sauna in a wild tree species park. There are about 250 different species of woody trees and shrubs in the two-hectare area. The trees were planted in 1970 and form their own microclimate, where the air is clean and good to breathe. The area is still partly in its natural state and renovation is being done in the area. For those interested, we will be happy to introduce the arboretums during the visit. The household includes two Lapphunds, a cat, a rooster and 6 hens. Breakfast available

Art toilet

Artistic, suitably ascetic, little cabin on wheels. The mini-house is decorated with nature-themed art and the works change from time to time. The building materials of the cabin are genuine and eco-friendly, such as the plank floor, solid wood panel roof, rag paper wall and a wall decorated with old book covers. The surrounding area is formed by the courtyard of an old log cabin. Although the road is close, the romantic birch fence serves as a visual barrier. The accommodation includes a hot barrel sauna!

Helmin Tupa, grandma's cottage with amenities

In Helmin Tupa, you can spend a relaxing holiday, work remotely, and have a base when hiking in the national landscapes of Koli or spend a skiing holiday in winter. Helmin Tuva has beds for four, a dishwasher in the kitchen, and the necessary cooking utensils. The fireplace oven brings warmth to the evenings and in summer the air heat pump cools down. A new barrel sauna provides good steam. Koli is 12 km away and Kolin village is 9 km away. The nearest store is about 2 km away at Kolinportti. IG:helmitupa

Log cabin by a clear water lake

Small log cabin with spectacular lake views. There is an extendable bed (2x80cm) in the cabin, as well as a kitchenette (running cold water). Sheets and towels provided. Electricity. Rent includes private use of a spacious wood burning sauna by the lake, about 2h per day (sauna also used by the owners). You can book your slot at arrival. Access to hot water in sauna (heated by wood). Dry toilet next to the sauna. Use of a rowing boat. Cabin is located 50 meters from the house of the owners.

In the sauna, good steam and the possibility to take a dip in the open air in winter. In summer, the dock is a good place to swim. Cosy Flat in the Countryside, near Joensuu

On a farm just renovated and cosy two bedroom flat with a kitchen-livingroom and a bathroom. In a useful utility room you wash your laundry easily. Towels and linen are included in price likewise final cleaning up. In a nice livingroom you can watch TV and enjoy your meals. In a master bedroom there is a double bed, in a second bedroom two single beds. In both bedrooms you have light out blinds and a ventilation window. A flat has it's own privacy, there is a hall place for your car.

Granary for accommodation on the shore of the lake

Cute little log cabin with a 160 cm double bed. Next to Höytiäinen beach. We live in the same yard. Outdoor toilet. On the beach, a barbecue area and a fire pit are freely shared, the price includes 1 bag of firewood. Sheets are included in the price. Also ask for a guided island/fishing trip and equipment, rowing water, paddleboards, kayaks, etc. for rent. On the beach, a barrel sauna for rent, 40 e/2 hours. Additional hours 25e/hour. There is no electricity in the barn.

Kodikas guest house/pihamökki

Stay close to the castle, the beach, and downtown amenities in a quiet, centrally located place, with easy access to urban nature. You will stay with us as a guest of our family, in a separate courtyard building. The guest house has a day bed for two and a child's travel cot, bathroom, toilet, sauna and simple kitchen equipment (no cooking facilities), laundry facilities for an additional fee. Please note that there are two friendly dogs and a rabbit in our home. Welcome!
