Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Newport

Fabulous cottage. A real home from home & fully equipped kitchen. Lots of character, was initially worried about the stairs (spiral), mastered them after a few times. Great hosts & attention to detail.

The apartment is very well located right along the water and close to many shops, restaurants, and walking paths. The weather was gorgeous during our stay which made the visit even more enjoyable.

Cosy, characterful place to stay with super and welcoming host hospitality in an ideal location for us to enjoy adventuring out for some lovely walks and close to all the amenities of Chepstow. Highly recommended!

The flat is located in a nice and central neighbourhood near local restaurants and shops. It is always at walking distance to the suspension bridge and observatory. The flat is nicely decorated and functional. We also appreciated to receive a parking permit.

Tucked away there's no way you'd find this apartment without knowing it was there - luckily we were sent directions which meant we could find this gem! the apartment is spacious in the living areas and bedrooms with each bed being a double. there are 2 rooms with 1 double bed in, and 2 rooms with 2 double beds in, which was perfect for our needs. parking was about 10 minutes walk but there were lots of spaces available (at the library) which was perfect. we got ubers into town but it's probably walkable in 25mins if you were that way inclined! really communicative and friendly host, and I would definitely look to book again

Lovely place to stay, a 10 minutes drive down a small lane and you're surrounded by fields, beautiful sunrises. Very peaceful, never heard cars at night and rarely in the day. Cozy writing desk to get some work done. Philippa brought homemade cake and some good, such a nice gesture, makes you feel very welcome.

Peaceful location and clean, cosy accommodation. Ideal for our purpose which was researching properties in Chepstow. There is no kitchen so be prepared to travel to eat and the location is off the beaten track so use the what3words reference for accurate sat nav especially in the dark.

The flat at Camp Hill Crest was perfect for our night on the Offa’s Dyke path. Plenty of space, comfortable beds and Corinna provided us with good and cheap vegetarian meals for dinner, breakfast and a packed lunch.

The hut was perfect and sauna and ice bath was amazing too. Super comfy bed and private.

Had a lovely weekend here. Nice and close to the city centre. And somewhere quite after a long day. The elecrtic fire made it cosy and the electric blankets were a smart move to warm the beds up. The hot chocolate was delicious.

We had an amazing stay with Victoria, the cabin had everything you could need and all the logs to keep the hot tub going all weekend. The pizza oven was a lovely addition and the pellets needed were all supplied. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful and very peaceful. I wish we could have stayed longer! Wow wow wow! We had such a wonderful time at The Roost, and we can’t wait to visit again! Kath has done an amazing job making her place warm (even in FREEZING weather), cosy, and welcoming, there were so many thoughtful little touches that surprised us that it will be difficult to mention them all! We stayed at The Roost for a short Valentine’s break, and I wanted something different to surprise my boyfriend with. Everything was of exceptional quality, including super warm and cosy bedding, sparkling clean shower rooms, a very cool kitchen area with board games provided, environmentally friendly toilet roll and cleaning products, and also a great set-up for bikes, with bike racks inside the cabins and a bike wash area. A personal highlight was the mouthwatering homemade Welsh cakes left for us in our cabin, these were delicious and I could definitely have over-indulged! Kath was incredibly accommodating to us when the weather forecast had predicted a very bad storm, reaching out to check if we needed to postpone our trip, and then allowing us to do this at no extra cost. All in all, we had a superb time and can’t wait to visit again (hopefully when the weather is warmer!)

Very nice lodge located in a peaceful field. Well located for hikes nearby and good access to local amenities. Also a great host who was super helpful.
