I didnt want to leave this little cabin in the woods. It felt rustic but had all the modern amenities you would expect in a home. From the rocking chairs on the porch to the comfy beds, there is nothing I could complain about, even if I tried. Marilyn gave excellent suggestions of places to eat and local current events. We left with fall apples, bellies full of clam chowder, and gigantic smiles!!! We have already started planning our return!

Loved loved loved every minute! Angela was so friendly and so was her husband, kids and dogs. We stayed in the campsite and it was more than we expected. We even made friends with the ladies who rented the cabin across from our site. The outhouse was very cute and clean.. We did not use the sauna but it looked very nice. The shower was also very well kept. Also, a little private beach with kayaks, canoes and a rope swing! We payed extra to ride in her "Moby Duck" paddle boat which we were completely okay with paying for because who wouldn't want to ride in a duck boat? We woke up well past our alarm on check out day and Angela was more than okay with us staying hours past check out with no hassal at all.. even offered to let us stay the whole day (which i didnt want to take advantage of her without paying). We will definitely be back! Thank you so much for a relaxing couple of days!

Susan checked in with us the day of arrival, once during the week, and night before checkout to ensure everything went smoothly. They left a welcome treat, and had a well-stocked place for one-off needs or if you forgot something at home. Very comfortable temperature with heated floors. Would stay here again.

We loved our stay in Westbrook! Mia's lovely home exceeded our expectations in terms of decor, furnishings, cleanliness, comfortable beds, and well-stocked kitchen and bath ... all in a quiet and private setting. The house was especially well-situated for us. We had tickets for a special theater performance at Gillette Castle one evening, and then had to be in New Haven on the next day. All were easy drives. And, there are amazing fine dining options nearby. We'll definitely try to book this wonderful place any time we have events in the area. Thank you, Mia, for a magical Autumn weekend in Connecticut!

This was one of the greatest Airbnb stays I have had! This house of very continent do the beach. They have chairs and an umbrella for you so you don’t need to pack them. Also there are so many great beaches near by to pick from. This house is beautiful and was perfect for the girls weekend we had planned. We all highly recommend this place and all want to make it our new yearly tradition to stay here!

We really loved Kim’s house! It’s very well appointed, beautifully renovated and her well stocked. It’s extremely clean and inviting and we felt right at home and very comfortable. Kim was even sweet enough to leave some toys and puzzles out for us knowing we have a toddler - that was such a nice touch but also very helpful in keeping our son occupied and having fun the whole weekend. We loved the nearby restaurants and the beach is so close and very nice! Hope to be back!
