There is nothing negative to say about our experience! The place looks exactly like the pictures and descriptions. You do need to walk up two flights of stairs but that wasn't a problem for us. The check-in experience was especially smooth and stress free with Edelgard's clear and detailed instructions (something we do not take for granted anymore). Bad Harzburg was a great central location for everything we wanted to see and do in the Harz mountains (make sure to see Devil's Wall, Wernigerode and Goslar) and the town itself was very nice to walk around and enjoy from the balcony. The Treetop path was confusing; note that you do not need the gondola to see it (it actually adds significant walking) but it does take you to the top with the castle ruins and hiking paths and which we enjoyed more than the treetop path as we were travelling without children. You can also just walk to the top.

A very nice accommodation in an old house with atmosphere :) artwork of the former owner Kraft can be found in and around the house. A beautiful tiled stove gives cozy warmth. Kitchen well equipped. Very pleasant hosts, very friendly in contact. Beautiful hiking opportunities right outside the door. We will be happy to come back :)

Fabulous place, peacefully and amazing oases of natural beauty. Owners appartement is situated in very good place, public transport easy accessible, practical appartement, owners really has thought of all kind situations: for example umbrella, vacuumcleaner in the appartement. We really got good time. Loved early mornings and watch real natural cinema above the mountaintop. Meantime worth for the multiply return.

A beautiful place to stay in Bad Harzburg. We were there over the weekend to hike in the Harz from there. We came by train and had to walk about 10-15 min to the accommodation. With the good description, we found the apartment quickly. The apartment is well furnished and has everything you could need. Also, it was very clean. I would definitely recommend the apartment. Also because of the unbeatable value for money.

I highly recommend it. Irina is a warm host. We felt right at home from the beginning. From Stapelburg you can explore the Harz wonderfully. The perfect connection to the highway ( less than 5 minutes) is perfect. The shoe is, as the name shows, small but nice. Lovingly furnished with everything you need. We felt very comfortable. I'm sure we will visit the sheep again. If you want to explore the Harz, we can highly recommend Irina's sheep.

We stayed at Nicole and Raphael's place for 2 nights. It was very clean and everything as described. The large living/dining area invites you to spend evenings together and you have a beautiful view of the place. The town center is a 10-minute walk. The accommodation is located in a quiet residential area. Check-in was flexible and easy and communication with the hosts was very friendly. Ilsenburg is a good starting point for excursions and hikes. We will be happy to come back :)

The cottage is somewhat secluded completely surrounded by nature & is still superbly accessible by car. There is even an extra parking space. After heating it was nice and warm & cozy! Lienhard was immediately available & helped us with initial starting difficulties. We lacked nothing. We will be back!

Was our first vacation as a small family. We were able to rent this apartment spontaneously after having to change from our originally booked accommodation. Everything was very clean and the communication impeccable. The apartment was cleaned and finished before our arrival. The apartment is very cozily decorated and everything is available. The location is nice for walking and many activities are easily accessible on foot. Pool and sauna complete the whole thing.
