One of South Monterrey's main streets Calzada del Valle becomes a huge park and market every Sunday of the year from 7 AM to 1 PM. Car traffic is closed off and you can run, bike or walk and participate along the many free activities, listen to live music, people watch and taste tons of different food ranging from fruit smoothies, popsicles, tacos, burgers, and look at the local crafts market. 10 minute walk from the house, walk South towards Calzada del Valle. The food market is right on the corner of Rio Volga and Calzada San Pedro. Don’t Uber, walk 😉.
