Airbnb Volunteer Day- Portland

The Latin roots of community come from "com" meaning with or together, and "munus" meaning gift or service. Every day our community of hosts and travelers on Airbnb make neighbors of strangers all over the world.

With the the holiday season under way, we'd like to reach out to neighborhoods and organizations and invite you to join us in working together to serve communities near and far. Let's get neighborly, come together, and lend a hand.

Here are the nitty gritty details:

When: Saturday, November 19th from 9:45am-12pm (sharp). We'll be checking you in at 9:45am!

What: Portland Community Gardens provides garden space and educational events within Portland's neighborhoods. They work in the common areas of a local garden -- laying paths, weeding, mulching, removing invasive species, pruning, building beds, planting, and more, depending on the needs at each month's garden.
