Urban Rooftop Farm Series: Part Three

Are you eager to learn how to turn urban landscapes into edible gardens? Excited to get your hands in the dirt this summer? Join us for the third part of our Urban Farming Summer Series at Brooklyn Grange Rooftop Farm.

On July 21st, Brooklyn Grange co-founder Anastasia Cole Plakias will lead us on a special tour of this innovative rooftop farm in Long Island City. Explore the intensive green roofs that house the Grange’s vegetables and herbs before they end up in restaurant kitchens and farmer’s markets. Afterwards, we'll sit down for a lunch and take in the views of the NYC skyline.

The experience will make you look at food in a whole new way and give you the confidence to flex your green thumb this summer!

***The tour is complimentary, but due to limited space, only those who RSVP will be admitted in.

Date: Saturday, July 21st
Time: 10:15 – 12:00 PM
Location: Brooklyn Grange, located at 37-18 Northern Blvd, Long Island City, NY 11101. ***Meet in lobby at 10:15 AM to check in. Tour begins at 10:30 AM.
