Vacation rentals in Matlhagame

This beautiful location is secluded and contained within a wildlife protected area. The birds just around the accommodation are amazing and a highlight of my stay. Other wildlife like impala wander freely through the grounds and surrounding area. The accommodation is of a high quality and well equipped for self catering. Sue kindly supplied two suppers at a very reasonable cost. Well worth the effort to find this amazing place. What made the stay so special was how friendly Sue and her husband Norv……and the two inquisitive Hornbills. Highly recommended

Such a hidden Gem. Nestled in a peaceful land, with fresh air and beautiful skies. Elizabeth & Tommie are amazing hosts, very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely return for some time away from the city. The gravel road to the farm needs a little patience when driving a small to medium car but as soon as you turn into the yard, the fresh air calls your name. Stunning place.

We loved staying there. My sister recommended it to us. Tayla, and her kids where so nice. We had some questions about the directions to a addo gate, and we got a 4 min long spoken msg. that was correct in every bump in the road. The house was nice and plenty of space. The pool was really nice because it was really really hot!

Wonderful accommodation, with a large beautiful garden. Shelley and George were great hosts. Will be visiting them again as it is a stone throw from Pilanesberg.

Beautiful and peaceful surroundings! What a place to relax in the pool or hot tub and unwind! Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Hannes and Lizette have provided an idyllic haven! All the amenities you need are provided for & on top of that they are friendly, helpful and communicative. The unexpected addition of fruit and sparkling wine was a happy bonus! Highly recommend this place and hope to come again.

The property is just as stunning as it looks in the pictures! Our stay was truly enjoyable, thanks to the exceptional housekeeping staff and groundskeeper, who were both helpful and considerate. The daily cleaning service was an absolute lifesaver, allowing us to fully relax and focus on having fun. It truly felt like a home away from home, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again in the future

Best Safari ever. We booked at Black Rhino as we had been to Pilanesburg a few times, we liked the reservation, however this time we chose to stay in luxury lodge as opposed to hotel. Accommodation was great, exceeded our expecations. Worked out cheaper than hotel with benefit of being able to eat/drink whenever you wanted and able to lounge around without plenty of space for everyone. Very spacious and well designed, plenty of space for everyone. Amenities were first class and it was a joy to stay at the lodge. Lodge was cleaned each day and Francois our safari guide was always on-hand if anything else was needed. Having safaris with Francois in a private vehicle was awesome. We could go where we wanted and saw a variety of animals every day. Would recommend to anyone looking to go on Safari in Pilanesberg.

Such a beautiful family home! Really feels like a dream bush breakaway. My little girl loved the garden swing, tree house and citrus trees 🍊, and ease of having kids plates, cups etc was such a convenience. For the adults the atmosphere was still stylish, romantic and fun. Imagine warmth by inside fireplace, with your favourite glass of wine under a comfy blanket, with the view of the bushveld. Fresh morning walk and less than 30 minutes to Pilanesberg or Sun City 🥰. Susan is just a gem too 💞!
