Other Things to Note
California is in a severe drought, so please help to conserve water as much as you can. Simple things like limiting length of showers, not running water while you brush your teeth, and the like can make a positive impact.
Please remove shoes inside. You can keep them in the hall closet.
No smoking inside. If you are a smoker, please smoke on the curb. Do NOT smoke in the stairwells or back deck, as it disturbs the neighbors. Thanks for understanding.
Margaret's apartment was the perfect base for our week in San Francisco. It had everything we needed plus some thoughtful little extras. The beds are very comfortable and we appreciated the space to hang / store our clothes. It is on a quiet street but within really easy walking distance to two bus routes that go into the heart of the city. There are a couple of grocery stores close by and some nice local eateries. Thanks again Margaret!
Margaret's apartment is as advertised. It is wonderfully decorated, comfy and spacious. Margaret left a nice letter for us upon our arrival which was a nice touch. She is also extremely organized and had a binder full of important information about the apartment and the neighborhood. My family enjoyed our stay very much and look forward to coming back to her apartment when we come back to SF! Thanks, Margaret!
This apartment was great for our trip. It was clean, spacious and light filled. We were able to walk to Land's End, China Beach, Golden Gate Park and a number of great restaurants. Also had a parking space so never had to worry about parking. Would highly recommend staying here.
Margaret's Tranquil Oasis was a nice little home away from home for a long weekend. My husband and I were in SF to attend a wedding, and we were very comfortable staying here. Margaret's notebook of suggestions and nearby places was great! In our down time, we walked the Land's End Trail, and then stopped at a nearby grocery store to pick up provisions to cook a meal in the apartment's kitchen. Margaret was very responsive via messages and text.
Margaret's apartment is quirky & comfortable. Our host was quick to respond when we had trouble with the Internet, getting it fixed within a day or two.
We loved being part of the cosmopolitan community of Outer Richmond, quickly getting to know some of the locals. It's a wonderful location for walkers, providing access to 3 of the great parks of SF.
Margaret has a lovely home to share in the Outer Richmond District of San Francisco. There was a parking space available, which was important because we didn't want to worry about driving around once we were in the city, and not many other apartments had a designated spot available.
She has a beautiful home tucked away in a nice neighborhood. The apartment is only a few blocks away from Golden State Park, and one block away from a bus stop leading downtown.
The communication leading to our arrival was great. We didn't need to contact her at all during our stay, but knew she would be available if needed. It was perfectly seamless from our end.
All around a nice time, and I would highly recommend.
(Thank you for your hospitality, Margaret)

About the Host, Margaret
Passionate about life and all its possibilities -- the people you meet, the places you see, the experiences you have and of course, all the fantastic food you get to eat along the way! I have a voracious appetite for new encounters, exploration and discovery of potential in all its forms.
I enjoy surfing, yoga, friends and family, outdoors and all things natural, as well as some of the finer things in life. I'm originally from Texas, but have been a California resident for more than half my life now. So, I consider myself an honorary Californian, and my heart is in San Francisco.
