Come to my studio in beautiful Topanga located in a serene canyon setting nestled in the Santa Monica mountains. I will take you through beginning weaving skills and show you creative tricks for texture using a bounty of natural fibers. You will design a unique-to-you, hand-woven wall hanging on a hand-made mini loom. Take home your piece to adorn your nest! With the skills you learn, you will be able to make more on your own. High Horse Malibu offers private horseback rides in one of the most secluded and scenic areas in Malibu! Our trails traverse rolling hills, wooded canyons, and striking rock formations, with sweeping ocean vistas around every corner! A one of a kind experience you won't forget. Right after you book you'll receive an email from us collecting some basic info (physical stats, riding experience, etc.) so that we have the perfect horses tacked and ready when you arrive. Upon arrival you'll be introduced to your guide and acquainted with your horse. We start every ride off with a ten to fifteen minute riding lesson to get you comfortable and confidant. When everyone feels good - we hit the trail! There are plenty of opportunities to take photos and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the ride. Our goal is for everyone who rides with us to leave with an appreciation for horses and a love of riding! Things to note: If you plan to take an Uber or other ride share service - please make arrangements for pick up prior to being dropped off. It is difficult (sometimes impossible) to get cell service at the ranch depending on your provider. The rider weight limit is 200lbs. Exceptions made for riders over 6ft tall. You must be at least 8 years old to ride. For riders under 8 - ask us about our kids pony lessons! There is no public restroom at this time.

I use a few different beaches in Malibu so the beach we will be meeting on will be based on the conditions for the day you come. The beaches that I use are between the famous Malibu Pier in Southern Malibu to Zuma Beach in the Northern part of Malibu. Start to finish is 1 1/2 hours. The first 20 minutes we will consist of a beach lesson on the sand where we will go over the basics of surfing. We will go over water safety, paddling, balancing and the proper technique of surfing. Then out in the water for the rest of the time catching waves. My goal is to have you catch as many waves as possible in the time we spend together. I also almost guaranty that you will stand up and ride many waves. Other things to note I will supply surfboards, wetsuits and lesson. This Experience can be booked any time during any day. You will start your adventure at Stone Fox Ranch where you will meet our wonderful tribe of animals. We will connect you with a horse based on your weight, energy, and experience level. While we are getting your horse ready, feel free to hang out with our dogs and chickens. We will take a moment to fill out waivers, give you a crash course riding demonstration, and we'll get you mounted and on our way. We'll explore the gorgeous Santa Monica mountains and possibly stumble across a family of deer. The trails are endless in our local mountains with over 8,000 acres of rolling tall-grass plains, oak savannahs and dramatic peaks with an abundance of local flora and fauna. You will certainly enjoy the peacefulness of the mountains with breathtaking panorama views during a guided intimate ride with our happy horses. Other things to note Please be on time! Day 1 Learn how to fit your backpack, pack it properly from bottom to top, and take a short easy hike from the car to our campsite. Once at the campsite I'll pass out overnight equipment and we'll set it up together. I'll show you how to set up your tent quickly and easily and explain why it works in the backcountry, as opposed to "glam-ping"! Other things to note There are no bathrooms or running water at this campsite. But I have brought a portable toilet up here which you may use if you need. Day 2 Next we'll build the fire. Fire building is a tricky practice without lighter fluid or some kind of fire starter. This is your chance to build a proper fire and learn how to start it with one single match! After the fire is lit we'll cook a cowboy style meal over the hot coals. Other things to note Please let me know if you have any dietary restrictions and I can do my best to accommodate. Day 3 Wake up bright and early to catch a beautiful sunrise. This is the best time to spot wildlife because of the cooler temperatures. Then we'll enjoy a hot drink, make a backcountry breakfast, pack up camp, and head back to the city. Other things to note Guests are free to choose their bedtime and wake up time, though waking up to watch the sunrise is welcomed.

Guests will experience local mountain biking trails in Malibu on premium ebikes. After a brief meet-and-greet and gear check we will head out to a nearby trailhead. The magic of electric mountain bikes is that the seamless electric motor assist makes trail riding accessible to every level of rider. I will take you on the less travelled, most extraordinary and fun sections in Malibu. These are my favorite trails which maximize fun and scenic views. This solo/duo session experience is perfect for those who need a bit of help. So yes, you must have a bit prior surf experience. If not, go back and book the Surf Beginnings first. This experience is for those about to give up… or had the displeasure of being left behind. Just the basics is you, the board, the ocean and your instructor. Our goal is to increase your awareness of the waves and understand your ever-presence while utilizing trust in physics to help you ride like never before. We meet at the agreed location/beach. Surfboards will be provided and wetsuits can be rented additionally from the package. Class will begin with light stretching and some theory. We then talk a little bit about the surfboard and the ocean. After you will learn water safety and proper surf safety for entering and exiting the water. Once all basics are covered, we practice pop-ups on the sand correcting any positioning. Finally, we make it to the water to experience what we've learned and Surf some Waves!!! Plenty of time for photos after the lesson. If you've had prior experience to surfing, we can evaluate your skill level and continue from where you left off. Everyone is different. Please let us know what type of coaching you will need. Beginner - Advanced Surfboards are all soft top longboards. Other things to note Feel free to call for any immediate assistance or needs.

The group will take their pick among premium 2022 full suspension electric mountain bikes as well as all the necessary protective gear. There will be a brief overview of how to operate the eBike, then we'll be hitting the trails! Participants will receive a professionally planned electric mountain bike tour immersed in nature. You'll also have the option to receive coaching so that you can hone down your mountain biking skills and apply them on the ride. This 120-minute experience is one fun loop! Whether you’re a beginner or advanced rider, you'll have the opportunity to have your experience customized to your riding ability. Type of Riding: Smooth flowy fire-road with optional single track. OUR GOAL IS FOR YOU TO HAVE AN EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE SURFING - whether its your first time or you're trying to advance your skills. We'll get suited up in the wetsuits I provide, grab the surfboards (we don't use 'one size fits all' Wavestorm boards - we offer custom boards in a variety of sizes to fit your needs) and head down to the sand. For the first 20-30 minutes we’ll be training on the beach, then it’s 60-80 minutes with an instructor in the ocean. The remaining time is yours to practice your skills and have fun in the water. The classes are taught by myself or one of our great instructors. We usually have the 2nd instructor helping in the water when the group exceeds 6-7 people. We will take photos of you in and out of the water in the last 10-15 minutes of the experience. These are not professional pics but a great memory for you, your friends and family. If you want to book for kids under 12 yo - please contact me directly for private lessons Your safety is our main priority that is why myself and all of our lead instructors are ISA (International Surfing Association), CPR & First Aid certified, we obtain Water Safety Specialists certificates (surfing instructor safety training) and I also completed 2 Level surf instructors program with ISA. When you tell your friends you are kayaking The LA River, do they respond: "The one in "Chinatown" and "Grease" without water in it? This is not "that" river. Well, not that part. Navigate two miles of Los Angeles' hidden waterway in a truly unique way: kayak it! While you can watch Dunaway or Travolta from your dry living room, lets get off the couch and feel as if in Thailand, 'Nam, Florida . . . or "another LA." Coast through calm water, ending at a mini-waterfall where the Tillman Water Reclamation Plant and Lake Balboa feed into the river. It's monitored by Heal the Bay and Federal and local city governments for water quality. Guess the entire river's length! I offer one sit-on-top kayak and one sit-in kayak that rocks side to side more than the sit-on-top one. Paddles and life jackets provided. Specifics: 1. Bird watch where we've spotted great blue herons, osprey, snow egrets, and cormorants. 2. See edible cattail; fig trees, hemlock, willow and cottonwood. 3. Converse about the history and city's plans for development. Learn what architect is on board to redevelop the river (no Googling). Other things to note Will get feet wet and your bottom. Recommend to bring extra change of clothes and shoes if you are going out to lunch or elsewhere after.

Before you come: We will try and contact you to size you for a wetsuit/board to help speed up the pre-lesson portion, and also give you an update on the conditions for your lesson. 20 minutes before the lesson: We will have you sign a waiver and get into your wetsuit. First 45min- hour of lesson: We will be on land and cover all of the basics, technique, and safety. The following 30-40 minutes: we'll be in the water together. I'll help you get into waves and give you instruction in the water to help you surf your first wave(s) The remaining time: you'll show what you've learned, We'll be a little more hands-off and either join you in the water or watch from the beach. At the end of the lesson: we'll head back dry off and change out of the wetsuits. --------- A couple of other notes : - If you'd like a private lesson feel free to message me - We will treat you like a person, not a number: We keep smaller classes (7 people or less unless specially requested otherwise) for a more individualized experience. We won't 'stack' our classes back to back and leave time between classes. This means you have time to change before and after class without cutting into your lesson time, you actually get a full class. - We include free photos and mean it, no deceptive pricing tiers. Start: the Guest will arrive at Bicycle storage facility in Venice Beach California where they will be greeted by myself or one of my other hosts. (Google our Theme Song "Sundays@Sunset" by MEI on Amazon) this will get you hyped and Pre set the Tone the Lyrics tell you everything you will experience. There you will get fitted to one of 15 LED Lit Bicycles and gifted a Venice Electric Light Parade Long Sleeve T as a Keepsake. Then we bike over to Venice Beach along abbot kinney blvd to our Sunset Bike Parade location where 100+ of my regular riders will be waiting for us. At that point when the Sun is setting they will be introduced and pictures taken with the local paraders in all of their magical outfits and Rad Personalized LED Bicycles. The Blue hour is when i start the LED Bicycle Parade as Tourist and locals alike take pictures i start the MUSIC and Blow the Whistle and we Start moving all Guest will ride behind myself and one of the regulars will ride behind them. We ride the Venice/Santa Monica bike path taking in the magical sights of both Beaches and the Santa Monica Pier all while listening to 80s and 90s Kid friendly music. The Parade takes us through Santa Monica back down to Venice down Abbot Kinney then the end of Venice Pier ending the parade at Hinanos Home of the Best Burger on the Westside.
