Welcome to our late 19th century farmhouse “Basin d’Amor” where you can share your passion for this splendid land, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Our house is located 10 minutes from the center of Asti, 30 minutes from Alba, Roero and Langhe, 30 minutes from Turin, 40 minutes from Barolo. You are surrounded by greenery but only ten minutes from the Asti-Est motorway exit. Located between Asti and Moncalvo, it is an ideal spot.
Relax and recharge in this oasis of quiet in the heart of Monferrato.
The space
La Musa Diffusa, 1 of our 2 apartments, spacious and bright of about 90 square meters, is located on the ground floor of our country house.
Suitable for a couple, a family unit or a couple of close friends, guests have access to a part of the house.
The apartment reflects the typology of the traditional farmhouse but with a modern architecture and maximum comfort linked to personalized and discreet hospitality.
With an "open structure", the apartment is a sort of large open space equipped with a bio fireplace, relaxation sofas and reading areas with air conditioning and a private garden. The bathroom is located next to the bedroom with two single beds from which you need to pass to access it. For this reason we believe the apartment is more suitable for a family unit.
For a larger unit it is possible to book both accommodations if available for a total of 7 people. All you need to do is view "Host Name" and towards the bottom "My Listings"📢

The farmhouse is on top of a gentle hill and is surrounded by greenery and gardens where you can relax, enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine and dine outdoors if desired. You will have sun loungers, deck chairs, a dining table and bistro tables at your disposal.
Parking is free in the internal property or in the adjacent park also owned. In addition to the house keys, you will be left a remote control with which you can enter and exit whenever you want.
In the small hamlet of Portacomaro 300 meters from the hill you can find:
bakery, butcher, local cheeses and artisanal jams, delicatessen, bar, coffee pod retailer, take-away pizzeria, tobacconist ...
and just 3 km away two large supermarkets and a shopping center.
Other things to note
The territory
The charm of the Monferrato area, pushes to a type of excellent food and wine holiday combined with sports activities (trekking, cycling routes, walks in the surrounding vineyards, etc.) or complete relaxation among the vineyards (cooking courses, visits to cellars, typical festivals, photography, etc.). There are also many "cultural" attractions understood in the broad sense of the term, since the area, for example with regard to historical architecture, is rich in villages, castles, towers from various eras (from the Middle Ages onwards). You can participate in events related to the promotion of wine and visits to cellars, the Truffle Fair, leading events, and events related to the local cheese-making tradition. Indisputably, the hills from which it is possible to admire the wonderful landscape and panorama, are rightly praised as a positive element of a stay in Monferrato, Langhe and Roero.
Furthermore, the Cascina is the ideal base for Vespa tours, to discover ancient villages and splendid natural landscapes. A short distance away you can also play golf, immerse yourself in the woods of Monferrato, Langhe and Roero in search of the "White Truffle of Alba" accompanied by expert "Trifolai", or experience the thrill of a hot air balloon flight to appreciate some of the best views that Piedmont can offer.

TOURIST TAX:
The Municipality of Asti imposes a tourist tax, in accordance with national legislation (Legislative Decree No. 23/2011).
The €2 tax applies per person and per night; for longer stays, it applies only to the first four consecutive nights. Payment is due on-site, in cash, upon check-in, and a receipt is issued.
* Children under the age of ten are exempt from paying the tourist tax.
