**Important Information:**
- Check-in is available after 4 PM
- An all-wheel drive (AWD) or 4x4 vehicle is recommended for inclement weather.
- Bath towels are provided, but please bring your own pool towels if you plan to use the amenities.
- The pool and all amenities will be closed for annual maintenance in April; we cannot guarantee reopening dates.
-Please check that you have gathered everything before checking out. There is a $25 charge plus shipping cost to mail anything back to you. We do not mail any items between the months of December through March. Anything left in those months will be shipped in April.
-We strongly recommend purchasing trip insurance for your stay. You may opt for the coverage offered through the booking platform or use a provider of your choice. Please note that once the moderate cancellation window has closed, we are unable to provide refunds for unforeseen events such as all weather, travel delays, or illness. Trip insurance is the best way to protect your travel investment against these unexpected changes.

**IMPORTANT** GETTING HERE WITH YOUR CAR IN THE WINTER MONTHS!!

We are at the very top of a gorgeous mountain, that being said your climb to the top in inclement weather can be very difficult unless you have a 4x4 or All-wheel drive vehicle.
We recommend chains and/or cables if you do not have this type of vehicle.

THERE IS A FLASHING LIGHT AT THE BASE OF THE MOUNTAIN. THIS WILL ALERT YOU IF YOU NEED TO PUT THE CHAINS/CABLES ON YOUR CAR.

We suggest Rays Weather for the most accurate weather in the area.

We are approximately 2 hours from Charlotte and Asheville. We are approximately 25-30 minutes from Boone, Blowing Rock, and the Northeastern Tennessee border.

During your stay you will have full access to the resorts indoor heated pool, hot tub, small workout area, pool table, shuffleboard, mini golf, tennis courts, basketball court, onsite parking and a FREE shuttle to Beach mountain ski resort (Seasonal schedule applies).

The SunRiser is conveniently located 2 miles from Beech ski resort ski resort, minutes (even a walk in the warmer months) to the mountains restaurants, and shops like Freds Mercantile General store for essentials and firewood! We are just a few miles from The Land of OZ , and downtown Banner Elk.
A short drive will lead you to Grandfather mountain, The new Alpine Mountain Coaster, Apple Hill Farm, the original Mast General store, Tweetsie Railroad, Linville Gorge/Falls and Caverns, tons of gorgeous hikes and much more!
If you are attending an event at the beautiful Overlook Barn we are a 2 minute car ride or 8-10 minute beautiful walk weather permitting (We are a mile up in the clouds and it gets very windy up here!)

**Please Note: Our All seasons building including the Pool/Hot Tub/Saunas/excercise equipment/pool table etc is closed for a few weeks every April for yearly re-painting and maintenance ~Thank You!**
