You will be seduced by its antique furniture that blends perfectly with its style.
The space
The Chartreuse
A 17th and 18th century residence
This is what we call a "Maître" house in Périgord, a rural character, which can be very imposing or much more modest, but meets specific criteria: a house built between 1650 and 1850, strongly barlongue (much longer than wide), whose construction and interior finish are "sought after", often accompanied by a small complementary heritage, such as a well, bread oven or other outbuilding. This house with an asymmetrical Mansart roof, ridge spikes and stone dormer windows, accompanied by its well, bread oven and adjoining barn, meets its criteria. As well as its interior design and in particular its two fireplaces with stone trumeau built under Louis XV.

Its classification meets the requirements you expect of it; so you will find in the kitchen furniture, in the cupboard and the silverware of the dining room, sufficient dishes and cutlery. In addition to the fridge-freezer, oven, microwave and dishwasher in the kitchen, you also have in the cellar at the bottom of the steps in the garden courtyard, a washing machine dryer, 2 other refrigerators, a freezer cabinet, additional dishes, as well as large dishes and additional small equipment. A flat-screen TV, several radios or sound bar as well as Wi-Fi are at your disposal. Finally, it should be noted that a library upstairs contains children's books and a trunk of board games for all. Finally, the ground floor bedroom overlooking the garden courtyard has a piano.
The outdoors
In the garden courtyard, which is completely enclosed, you have access to the cellar as well as the woodpile to light the bread oven that can serve as a barbecue. The latter is at the back of a shelter under which is installed a table that comfortably accommodates 6 people. The large barn, adjoining the house, allows you to have lunch with 12 people with a side table that can also complete this number up to 18 or more. Under this barn there is also a ping pong table, an American pool table, a foosball table and a dozen bicycles of different sizes. Finally, many garden chairs and deckchairs are stored there.
This garden communicates by a gate to the 10 by 5 meter swimming pool, plus the steps, which are external. A large terrace borders it with garden furniture for an aperitif or snack. The pool is completely enclosed by walls, gates or hedges. However, adult supervision of children's swimming remains the best safety measure. From a barrier you have access to the garden which leads to the path that goes around the house as well as to the park. A second garden furniture allows you to be in the shade in the afternoon when the pool is in the sun.
The park allows you to indulge in other games, such as ball or badminton, croquet or shuttlecock, etc.
