*The full bathroom is stocked with clean towels/washcloths, shampoo + conditioner + body wash, toilet paper, and a starter supply of essential toiletries to help your arrival go as smoothly as possible. Please bring/purchase any additional supplies you need for your stay.
THE EXTERIOR SPACE:
The large lot offers a wonderful opportunity for you and your guests to unwind and enjoy outdoor living while enjoying the view of the Susquehanna River and nearby mountains. You’ll have access to:
★ A Spacious and Private .9-acre lot (See photo in Welcome book for lot lines)
★ Fire Pit, Adirondack Chairs, Outdoor Games, etc.
*Please note-While you can enjoy the beautiful view of the Susquehanna River, there is NOT easy access to walk to the river from the property quite yet. We're working on that goal for early 2026!
Guest access
Guests have private access to the entire property and use a self check in keypad.
FYI-An aerial photo of the property is included in the guestbook for guests. Please review our property lot lines (in the Welcome Binder) and enjoy our property but DO NOT venture out into our neighbors' properties as they are our friends and we want to be respectful of them.
*Also, while you can enjoy the beautiful view of the Susquehanna River, there isn't easy access to walk to the river from the property quite yet!
Other things to note
A few things that might be helpful:
*We will pick up trash on Sunday or Monday nights so you don't have to worry about it at all!
*Unfortunately, there is NOT easy walking access to the river at this time but you're welcome to carefully venture down to the river (at your own risk and ONLY via our property). Please see the photo in the Welcome book so you can see our property. We're working on having steps and a landing to get down to the river more easily so stay tuned and come back in another season to enjoy it!
*You have control over the thermostat/mini-split which offers heating and cooling. Please use the remote to select your choice. Note that we also have an additional heating source in each bedroom and a ceiling fan in each bedroom.
*Please note that if it is a really warm summer night, carefully consider whether or not you want to have the front exterior lights on as they can draw flying insects! (Note: Being out in nature and along the river is incredible yet carefully consider leaving those lights on low or not at all on the hot summer nights to avoid any additional and unwanted insect visitors!) :)
-Please refrain from putting anything other than toilet paper in the toilet. PLEASE do not flush wipes even if they say "flushable". We don't have a sceptic issue yet have signs up to prevent a problem because some guests have flushed things that aren't supposed to be flushed. No paper towels, "flushable wipes", or any other things should be flushed down the toilets. If/when this happens, we cannot refund guests for their stay as we need to use the money to pay the plumber! :)
