Our cabin comes equipped with fitted main electrics and running water, a kitchenette area, and separate wash facilities. There is a large double bedroom and double sofa bed in the living area.

Please be aware that is a working farm so it can be uneven under foot. The track up to the cabin might be unsuitable for low lying cars, but we do have other parking available.

The space
The space itself is small but perfectly formed. We have a small compact kitchen, with small fridge freezer, all cutlery and dish wear, sink, microwave and hot plate.

There is a compact bathroom with full size wash facilities and heated towel rail.

We have a large double bedroom and a double sofa bed located in the living area space. Bedding and towels are included as part of your stay.

Outside we have a fire pit with outdoor seating. This also acts as a BBQ. Guest will need to provide briquettes if they wish to use this.

There is a small log burner which keeps the cabin very warm in the colder months. The patio doors open up onto a generous decking area with a full set of metal table and chairs. Perfect for alfresco dining.

The cabin is situated on a working farm, however the site is positioned away from any of the day to day activities, so there is no disruption when our guests stay.

We are situated in very ecological area and are hub for all creatures great and small. As a result we have encouraged wilding of the surrounding area to ensure as little disruption to the ecosystem as possible. We kindly request that guests stick to the paths provided on the site and help us to protect our wildlife.

Parking 🅿️

Parking is situated on the track that runs just above the cabin. Very close so your car will be close at all times.

Be sure to check out our guide book for things to see and do in the area! 😊

Guest access
The path to get to the cabin is on a gravel track. Please bear this mind before booking as.

Guests have full access to the cabin and the immediate area surrounding area. Guests are not able to access the rest of the farm outside of the designated footpaths due to live stock.

Other things to note
The campsite isn’t entirely enclosed and there is a pond about 100 yards from it. It is safe for children, but children still need to be supervised. We are still on a farm, so there is livestock around, but ask that guests keep away.

First basket of logs is included in the stay, but there is a fee following that.

We are not close to any immediate shops/stores. But there is a Tesco/Aldi/Co-op/Asda/Morrisons in the Bedwas/Caerphilly area.

For full transparency, there is a pylon to the rear of the cabin the field behind. This is shut away from the site and doesn’t interfere with any of the views of area or the environment.
