Highly rated for uniqueness
Create a mother-of-pearl inlaid plate
This two-hour workshop is designed for beginners. We will take a brief look at the history of Najeon Chilgi—the Korean wooden lacquerware inlaid with mother-of-pearl.
Made from the shining, unchangeable beauty of pearl oyster or abalone, mother-of-pearl is smooth, iridescent, and is considered to be the jewel of the orient.
The traditional Najeon Chilgi technique is complicated and takes a long time. During this workshop, we will use a technique that cuts the mother of pearl and we'll stick in these pieces to decorate a wooden tray or a plate, coasters like a little mosaic. I will also have prepared the pre-cut pieces of shell, which will be easy to stick.
All materials and tools will be provided and you will be offered a choice of different designs. Of course, you can also bring an image if you have one in your mind.
You will enjoy a well-deserved drink after you've finished creating your masterpiece, which you'll get to take home with you.
-Other things to note-
•The shape of plate/tray will be varied depends on its supply.
•Please be informed that we have stairs in the place, sorry for any inconvenience.
•Let me know if you’re allergic to cats -We have quite shy one in here (so I’ll make sure he’d hide inside as he usually do).
Carve a stone seal with a craft woman in Insadong Seoul
In this workshop, I will not only teach you how to write beautifully, but also how to experience the joy of carving a handcrafted seal. You will create a design using your name. During this activity, your mind will relax and you will experience healing through the slow analog, tactile sensibility of everyday life. I will teach you how to design and carve your name with a engraving knife on a small stone.
First, I shows two ways to engrave the seal and demonstrates how to carve with a carving knife.(straight line, circle, etc.)
Then I helps you learn to hold the engraving tool and practice properly.
Next, I show the way to design the names and help to design according to syllable of name.
You go for it and then cover with ink of Korean style and take a stamp.
Once the engraving is over, you can choose a elegant case for your stone seal. It will be an opportunity to rethink the meaning of your name that you have forgotten while carving the seal. When you return home, you'll enjoy looking at the stamp you carved and remembering your travels.
I'll write down a message for you in K-calligraphy after you have stamp your seal on a postcard I prepare.
You have to park the public parking lot when you use a car.
Public transportation is convenient.
Let's meet in front of Anguk Station, Subway Line No. 3, Exit 6.
Other things to note
-The name stone is not as hard as you think.
-Even a 10-year-old can use a tool to carve an own seal.
-It is possible for families to enjoy Korean culture together.
*You can wear a face mask and participate in the experience if you need.
*We are offering hand sanitiser .
Music walk in Hongdae with a musician
This experience will change the way you view Hongdae, a hip and vibrant neighborhood in Seoul. You will follow my daily routine as a musician and I will explain why the Hongdae area is an important place for musicians like me. I will take you to the hidden places that have played a role in the history of Korea's indie scene. Throughout our visit, you'll be able to imagine how musicians start and develop their careers. We'll stop by my favorite coffee shop and afterwards, we'll visit my studio to take a closer look at the life of musician. You may look through the picture books that have influenced me as a composer. You can also try whatever instrument you like—piano, guitar, ukulele, or any of the percussions. If you haven't played any of them before, I'll help you. I can also recommend Korean indie music songs you may like. Lastly, I'll sing my songs just for you and share the stories around them. It will be very special to enjoy an up-close, live performance without a microphone.
Other things to note
I'd like to treat you to my favorite coffee so if you're bothered by too much caffeine, don't drink any in advance. Don't worry if you aren't good at playing a musical instrument—it's just for fun.

Novice Fishing Classes for Fishing Letter
첫째는 낚시의 기본기를 배우신다 하더라도 실전에서는 고기를 한 마리도 못 잡으실 수도 있다는 사실입니다^^;
따라서 당일 기상 상황에 따라서 낚시 체험을 못할 경우에는 꼭 환불을 원한다 하시는 분들은 예약을 삼가해 주시기 바라며, 설령 낚시체험이 취소되고 팔찌만들기 실내체험으로 대체가 된다 하더라도 아무런 상관이 없으신 분들만 예약을 진행해 주시기 바랍니다^^;

Bukhansan National Park- The Summit Course
*This experience is priced at 81,000 KRW. For April 3rd, you will see that is priced at 11,000 KRW online. For April 3rd hike, please pay additional 70,000 KRW in person.
* The highest peak in Seoul (836 m / 2743 ft)
* Delicious lunch after the hike (optional)
* Hundreds get rescued from this mountain every year. Don't risk it. Make it easy
Located on the boundary of Seoul, Bukhansan national park is one of the most iconic hiking spots in Korea.
With research, I came up with the simplest route to save your precious travel time. We will only need 4 hours instead of the normal 6 hours, while still conquering the summit.
The ascending part of the hike will have an elevation change of 600 meters (2,000 ft) within 2.1 km (1.3 miles) which normally takes around 100~120 minutes. You will need to be moderately fit to finish this hike. Imagine if you could go up-and-down 200 floors of stairs :)
The highlight, Baek-un-dae peak, will require some amount of 25~45 degree-angle climbing, always aided by ropes. If you have a fear of heights, this 20~30 minute part can be avoided by having a break.
(Optional. Paid by individuals. 9000~15000 KRW for lunch) After the hike, we will eat at a place specializing in tofu dishes. They make everything from scratch. It may change your perspective of tofu. They have meat too! (Vegan/vegetarian friendly)

Bukhansan highest peak with Temple visit - lunch inclusive
I love hiking!
I solo hiked in Kilimanjaro, Himalayas, Fuji, Alps, Olympus and more. I have led a hiking club for over 2 years. Since I like to meet new people and learn about different cultures, I traveled more than 40 countries, mostly alone.
I do not hike fast in any mountain. The mountain usually takes 5-6 hours including a temple visit. I believe if you try to hike there less than 5 hours, you need to hurry yourself and miss lots of beautiful things in the nature.
Please don't try to conquer the summit when you hike. While we enjoy and relax in the nature, we will happily meet the summit. :-)
Born and raised in Seoul, and lived in 5 other countries. After I moved back to Korea I realized there are many beautiful mountains here!
Bukhansan is the only national park in Seoul. We hike to the highest peak, Baekundae (837m). The mountains offer breathtaking scenery. You wouldn't believe such mountains are located in this huge city!
Also visit old Buddhist temples including Doseonsa, established in 862 in Silla Kingdom. If we are early enough, we can also have Buddhist vegetarian food in the temple!
Near the peak we walk along Bukhansanseong fortress. The fortress was built in 1711 in order to protect the Joseon dynasty.
Let's enjoy the gorgeous nature, and historical sites of Korea together! :)

Life of Young Generation l Gangnam l
Let's look at social problems in Korea by a guy who loves Korea the most.
Majored in history, I will show you another part of Korea that foreigners wouldn't notice!
Reviews will tell you why you should take this tour!
-----------------------------------------------
This tour is about understanding the 'life of young generation in Korea'
We will be looking around the most developed area in this country, Gangnam, and visit places that represents sad cultures of Korea.
Korea is a wonderful country that shines brightly even in midnights. But under the beautiful lights, there are big deep dark shadows too.
Why does Korea have the highest suicide rate & lowest birthrate in the world?
Why does Koreans study so much?
What makes Korean people get unsatisfied with their wonderful country?
Why does plastic surgery has prospered?
These are the effects of modernization in Korea and we will look deeply about it through this tour.
It won't be a whining tour, but very interesting & fun tour that will show local's world.
After the tour, you will understand Korean more deeply.
Travel with me, and add a value to your journey
* There will be a Korean food session with tourists after the tour. It’s optional but fee is not included for foods & drinks.
