“The apartment in located in South Perth, only 10 minutes walking distance to the ferry and to Mr.Walker, my favourite restaurant. When you use public transport, it´s a short walk to one of several bus stops. When you travel by car, this apartment is perfect, since the parking lot is right in front of your terrace. For me, starting with a 4WD Campervan for a tour to the north, it was perfect to get packed. The apt. has all you need - comfortable bed, clean hot shower, well equipped kitchen (which I did not use) and a small terrace to sit outside. The noise from the highway and the railway line was not of a problem at all, since traffic calms down at night. What you do hear loud and clearly is structure-borne noise (steps, etc.) from the neighbours, not their talking, TV, .... Check-in and check-out was as easy as can be, with a keysafe right in front of the main entrance. The same is true for every conversation with Elyse who was very responsive and helpful. Next time in Perth, I will at first check the availability of Elyses apartment!Thanks, Elyse!”
Character house, well located on a quiet road near to shops and public transport. It is a short two minute walk to some great cafes, patisseries and restaurants,. There is also a supermarket nearby (10 min walk). Bus stops to the city and to UWA are at the end of the street and its about a ten minute walk to the train station linking you to the city, Fremantle and the pick of the best beaches in Perth including Cottesloe beach. Kings Park is also close by to explore.
“This is the second time I have stayed at Wayne's place. It means that I looked forward to repeating the first-rate experience I enjoyed last time. And, as it turned out, of course I did. Wayne has this hospitality thing 'down'. He's runs a tight ship; he's friendly; he's kind; and he's an easy man to get along with. You're not short of whatever you need at this 'character house in a great location'. One thing that is a great convenience to me: I usually prefer to drive when in Perth and (being 4,000 kms from home), need, therefore, to hire a car. Expensive! I've looked at the maths - the cost/convenience matrix - and it turns out the the public transport availability and price is so good that a car is just not needed. As I wrote in my last review, "I'll be back!"”

“We had a short 2 night stay at the sugar cube after returning from a 10 day campervan trip - it was perfect for us to wind down and get clean and organized again. Smooth/easy check in with all details provided by Sun beforehand. We didn't need to contact Sun but easily could have, she also provided us with lots of tips for Perth! The apartment is clean and compact but super cosy with lots of nice touches to make the place homely. Amenities are also great, with basic cooking equipment/condiments provided as well as body wash/shampoo etc. The TV is massive, air con unit + fan, iron, laundry facilities downstairs, short walk to CBD/central bars, delicious breakfast cafe next door is a MUST... we have no complaints and would definitely stay again.
