Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Keweenaw County

Absolutely Beautiful location! Peaceful, quiet, the house was stocked with a full coffee bar, tons of inside games, toys for the kids, the beds were amazing, there were tons of beach toys for ALL ages, the sauna was perfect! There was more than you can imagine!! The photos do no justice for the house, it’s absolutely incredible and the view & beach were perfect for our family vacation!! If I could give more stars I would!! Would Love to rent again

My wife and I needed a place to stay for a night and I’m glad we came across the little brown house. Great proximity to slims, and central to all the upper peninsula has to offer! Quaint, clean and comfortable!

Oh my goodness! We absolutely loved staying at Sandstone House!! We like staying in/near Calumet and this was perfectly located! We’ve stayed in several houses in the area, but this place has immediately become our favorite!! Clean! Welcoming! Well stocked and great accommodations! The beds are comfortable (maybe bring an extra pillow). Silly note, but the couches are so cozy and comfy to come back to after a day of adventuring! Also- the house “guidebook” has great ideas for food, drinks, and activities. We will definitely be back. Thank you, Ashley!

This was a wonderful "home base" for our group trip in the Keweenaw Peninsula! The location was easy to get to and ended up being a perfect central location for our adventures. The house was amazing. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out, and all the amenities one would expect. We were able to cook and grill and relax like home! WiFi was fast, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked. Having access to laundry was perfect, so we didn't have to pack as much, and the back deck was a lovely spot to sit and relax after our days exploring the peninsula. Overall, a wonderful place to come home to during our trip!

Perfect place for a fun snowmobile trip, next to the trail, heated garage to put sleds in at night to thaw them out. Plenty of space to park trailer and truck. House was very nice and there is everything you need to have provided for you.

Beautiful apartment in the Upper Peninsula close to Houghton and Copper Harbor. Loved the cute space , it’s perfect for couples or small families.

Great place and location for visiting all of keewanaw! Only about 1.5 hours from porcupine mountain as well!

This place is very cute and true to UP culture. Quiet, cozy, and peaceful. The piano and the guitar made us feel at home. We love our instruments. Also, an extra shout out to the use of local coffee and good! Love that extra touch and supporting a local business! I don’t know why people in other reviews did not know how to lock a dead bolt.

Beautifully decorated place that is conveniently located to many activities in the Keweenaw peninsula. Very clean place with a comfortable king size bed. We cooked outside on the grill which was nice to have available. I’d stay there again and recommend it to others!

Love the location! I’ve been coming to Ahmeek for 60 years and it’s great to find a nice place to stay after the family house was sold.

The apartment is in an excellent location downtown, walkable to coffee, restaurants, the historic visitors center, bars, etc. Everything was exactly as presented, and I had a very peaceful stay. Christina was very helpful and flexible on check-in when my flight to the UP was delayed overnight, and she let me check in the next day. I would certainly stay again.
