Working in a dynamic and passionate team, our Social Media and Content specialist will be working on creating a local Airbnb presence across Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and all other social channels with a focus on listening to, engaging with, and growing our audience across key platforms in the local market. Target focussed you will plan and coordinate newsletter campaigns in line with Airbnb’s global CRM strategy. You will create and distribute e-mails, newsletters and newsletter cycles with content that will cause users to open, read and act on the e-mail in the way that is intended. Airbnb is looking for a world-class Social Media/CRM Coordinator with deep knowledge of social media and CRM and a strong track record in creating innovative campaigns, and a great understanding of what a vibrant community brings to a brand. You will work closely with people across our Marketing, Community, Customer Experience, Product, and Communications teams in Airbnb’s headquarter as well as support our Local Ops team's efforts and initiatives throughout Brazil.


Responsibilities:

  • Execute the global vision and strategy in line with your managers vision to rapidly increase the followership and quality of Airbnb’s social communities
  • Manage day-to-day reactive and proactive communications on all Brazilian key social media channels
  • Work on building a strong and big community on the Brazilian Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and other social media profiles working in close collaboration with the international Social Media and CRM team
  • Create CRM and newsletter campaigns for the Portuguese-speaking user base that will maximize its value and focus on retention management
  • Communicate brand messages in line with the global strategy throughout Social Media channels and newsletters
  • Create and distribute e-mails, newsletters and newsletter cycles with content that will cause users to open, read and act on the e-mail in the way that is intended
  • Work in close collaboration with Customer Experience to build and maintain world-class support and moderation on key social channels
  • Execute campaigns in line with our global strategy to support Airbnb's core goals and deliver amazing experiences and tools to our community


Requirements

  • Passionate about Airbnb
  • Execute the global CRM and Social Media strategy locally
  • Expertise and passion for social media and community-building online, including in-depth knowledge of social media platforms, market trends, best practices, and tools of the trade
  • Excellent copywriting skills and a keen visual sense. An eye for detail, a quick wit, and an ability to work within tight deadlines
  • Native level fluency in Brazilian Portuguese. Fluent in English. Spanish is a plus.
  • CRM background
  • Expertise in setting up newsletter cycles and dealing with open-/click rates and other relevant KPIs
  • knowledge in creating CRM from scratch and setting it up for the Portuguese-speaking markets
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Portfolio of past campaigns/content/creative projects
  • Active profiles on Twitter and Facebook and other platforms
  • Basic photo editing skills
  • Experience working in global teams and communicating across national boundaries
  • Must be a creative thinker
