Regional HR Manager (Regional Talent Lead)

The successful candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced and challenging environment, has a passion for creating meaningful experiences and builds strong relationships with leaders and employees.  Airbnb’s Regional HR Lead will oversee delivery of a full range of HR products, services and solutions for our teams located in Dublin

Responsibilities: 



 

  • Act as the lead Talent Partner for the Airbnb Dublin Office and locations across Europe

  • Work with local leadership and functional Talent Partners at HQ to understand and support business and talent needs

  • Advocate for local teams and represent their needs to the global talent team and senior leadership

  • Partner with local and HQ recruiting teams to forecast staffing needs and ensure a positive candidate experience

  • Drive improvements to local programs and policies and oversee implementation and communication

  • Partner with regional legal team to ensure compliance with country and local employment regulations

  • Customize and implement global Talent Management programs such as performance reviews and engagement surveys

  • Work with managers and advise on performance and behavioral issues

  • Oversee relationship with Payroll provider, in partnership with Finance

  • Partner with all Employee Experience and HR operations teams on onboarding, offboarding processes and everything in between.

  • Promote a culture of feedback and open communication

  • Share knowledge appropriately and proactively look for ways to raise the bar

  • Manage local Talent Partners and work closely with other EU Employee experience team

 

Requirements:

 

  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience in a high growth environment

  • A high energy, thoughtful HR partner who can work at a detailed tactical level and also see the big picture.

  • Strong communications and relationship building skills to effectively support and connect with a diverse and valuable team.

  • Well-developed analytical and influencing skills, unquestioned integrity and a confident presence to effectively resolve sensitive employee issues. 

  • Experience working for a global company

  • Genuine curiosity and strong desire to continuously learn and grow

  • Self directed but also great at collaborating with employees at all levels and with many different teams

  • Ability to be patient and communicate respectfully in a fast paced environment

  • Ability to perceive, understand, judge, and come to a reasonable and logical conclusion in order to have the best outcome in any given situation
