Global Compensation Programs Manager

We're looking for a Compensation Programs Manger who can join our amazing HR Operations team in San Francisco. 



  • Oversee global compensation strategy, coordinating with Talent Partners, Business Leaders and in partnership with finance.
  • Evaluate jobs descriptions; determine salary ranges and grade levels globally. Assist Management, Recruiting, and Talent Partners on appropriate job profile, title, and level.  Review proposed promotions and adjustments and assist Managers/Talent Partners on compensation-related challenges.
  • Administer and communicate annual base and equity rewards, including developing/updating global budgets, guidelines, and tools.
  • Build HRIS global salary ranges, grade levels, and equity guidelines
  • Work closely with third party vendor with stock questions
  • Conduct market assessments for development of global base/bonus budgets, guidelines, and programs.
  • Oversee global salary surveys & respond to inquiries from survey providers.
  • Provide guidance for new hire and ongoing equity grants.
  • Recommend promotion and variable pay compensation programs and practices
  • Ensure compliance with local/federal compensation requirements and statutes
  • Actively support team members across Talent and look for opportunities to improve processes and policies.
  • Provide guidance to compensation vendors or consultants as needed.
  • May develop equity guidelines/budgets and prepare quarterly usage reports and projections.
  • Design a total rewards statement, as well as understandable and helpful equity education.



  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and 5+ years related compensation experience; global experience in a high-tech environment highly desired.
  • Experience with Workday preferred
  • Proactive team member with strong customer service orientation, excellent attention to detail and follow through.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment; strong sense of urgency in driving projects to completion.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and project management skills with strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage an end-to-end process.
  • Advanced Excel and HRIS Reporting
  • Strong working knowledge of current compensation/employment laws.
  • Ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion and exercise good judgment
  • Approachable with a problem-solving attitude with a smile.
