Airbnb’s Talent Partner for Portland will deliver a full range of HR products, services and solutions for the teams they support. In addition, this role will be part of the initial leadership team responsible for launching and building a new Airbnb Customer Experience office in Portland.
Understand the needs of the growing team in Airbnb’s new Customer Experience Office in Portland and its talent needs and advise on organization design and individual performance, including key talent identification and recognition and rewards.
Proactively work with managers, team leads and employees to understand employee needs and work with Talent colleagues to develop company-wide and/or Portland-specific solutions.
Work closely with HQ-based HR Operations team to ensure all US payroll, benefits, and compensation programs are customized and implemented for the Portland office.
Partner with leaders to identify talent needs and work with our Recruiting team to recruit and hire the very best.
On-board all new hires and support the transfer process for Airbnb employees relocating to Portland.
Partner with other “Employee Experience” functions (i.e. facilities, ground control, IT) to make the office the “Most Loved Place to Work” in Portland and beyond.
5+ years of progressive HR experience in a high growth environment, including experience directly supporting Customer Service teams (preferred)
A high energy, thoughtful HR partner who can work at a detailed tactical level and also see the big picture.
Off the charts communications and relationship building skills to effectively support and connect with a diverse and valuable team.
Well-developed analytical and influencing skills, unquestioned integrity and a confident presence to effectively resolve sensitive employee issues.
