As the Learning & Education expert of the Hospitality team you help guide when, what and how our users are learning new information. You help the company understand what programs and tools will be required to scale host learning effectively.
The L&E Manager will also work alongside L&D teams internally to streamline education and best solutions/tools available to the company.
Explore and execute business development opportunities with ELearning/mobile learning companies.
Work closely with our Insights team to understand the learning and educational needs of our users during the Life Cycle of an Airbnb customer.
Build hosting curriculums that can be built through the multiple platforms hosts use today - web, mobile, tablets.
Work on ways to scale learning effectively including peer-2-peer host education.
Train and educate all user-facing teams on what to teach- Customer Experience Teams, Photography and Community.
Understand the international needs for learning and focus on localization efforts with Market Experts
Provide a data & impact-driven approach to program creation. Work closely with the analytics team to understand business return.
Work alongside email marketing teams and manage the communication that our users receive - emails, newsletters, announcements.
Coordinate and critique the content of any classes & workshops run by the Head of Global Hospitality
Requirements/Desired Experience & Skills:
5+ years working in an educational role (In the tech field)
Have some Instructional design experience
Strong written communication
Strong project management and business negotiation skills
