Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Jefferson County

We had a great stay. Host met us at the door and showed us around. We two adults, two kids, and a dog and we had room to spare. Kitchen was very well equipped, easy street parking right in front, and though no washer the laundromat was right across the street. Easy walk to cute downtown and the river too. Michael was very communicative and made sure we had a great time. For sure would stay again.

Perfect in every way for our family retreat. Lake views beautiful, space open and welcoming, kitchen very well appointed, furniture and beds comfortable. Saw eagles and a brown pelican. Definitely a top notch host and a great experience. We hope to return!

We felt right at home at Gerardo’s! The place was just as the pictures showed. Very clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again! They were also very helpful and responded quickly

We stayed here 1 night with our dogs and loved it! The property is beautiful and right along the water. Canoes and kayaks were right next to our rental which was awesome. The town with a bunch of restaurants is only 5 min away. We will definitely be back!!

Stayed overnight for a snowmobile trip perfect place not far from trail

Nicholas was a great host. Everything was as described and the location is beautiful. If we are in the area again, we will return to this spot!

Such a fabulous place to stay. The property is amazing and every cottage has all the amenities of home!

The cottage was great. Rustic with a lot of character and reminded me of St Lawrence and Finger Lakes vacations when I was a kid. We've stayed at a number of places on the river over the years and this was the first time upon arrival I turned to my wife and said..."Now THIS is a river cottage." It had everything you could ever want to just be at the river and enjoy yourself. Susan was a great host, gave detailed, easy, and clear instructions and was very responsive.

Home was exactly as listed. Went over Thanksgiving so we did not use water but the home was warm and comfortable. Heating was great, especially for an old home, with units in every room. Water pressure can be an issue with a house on the water, but not an issue here. Very sulfuric scent to water, which can happen with well/lake water, so don't be deterred. Might not be an issue in the summer when visitors are more frequent. I tried every bed during our stay (thanks to restless kids) and the queen was the best but my kids didn't complain about the other beds (achy adults might). The kids spent a lot of time on the heated porch. Would be a wonderful place to hang out in the summer (there's even a pull out couch and TV). There is a lot of the space and seating outside. We'll be back in the area in the summer and will seriously consider returning to this home! It was just what we needed!

Needing an accommodation for work or vacation? This is your place. Full kitchen with utensils, two big bedrooms, homey living room, and full bathroom to make your stay feel comforting. Kara is very responsive and will problem solve if need be. Close location to Ft. Drum and the highway so commuting is a breeze. During my stay, there was a lot of snow and it was cleared before my early wake up time. Plenty of space to park. Would 100% stay here again!

Phyllis, & her daughter Jennifer, went above & beyond to make us, our 6yo & 12yo, and our crazy Bernedoodle feel very welcome. They seemed very happy to have us, and even offered us many of their personal things and private areas on their property to enjoy. Unique & beautiful surroundings that push you to relax, with a cozy/charming/glamping-style accommodation that makes you feel at home.

Super-house, super-stay comes from having a SUPERHOST! We really enjoyed the house. It was nice, clean, well furnished and, if you’ve not experienced it before, heated floors in the winter is sheer luxury. Karilee was a great host. Hope the house is available next time we come to visit my daughter, it’s moved to our top choice for the area.

Super cute cozy place for 2 people. Tons of obvious TLC in decorating the unit. Lots of snacks, espresso machine, and other little touches. Very responsive host and convenient location to village. Would be glad to return again.

From the very beginning, Tim was extremely attentive and answered all of my questions immediately. I knew what to expect as soon as I walked in. The house fit 2 families and 2 large lazy dogs without feeling cramped. Having water access was amazing, the kids fished all day while the parents enjoyed time on the patio. The kids were able to take kayaks out to fish as well. The water grass made it a little difficult to keep an eye on the kids from the patio area, but not enough to be a problem. The water is very shallow but we were able to park our rented boat (Mac's Boat Rental-super awesome to the kids) without a problem. This house is exactly what we were looking for; private, waterfront and allowed dogs heavier that 20lbs-which is difficult to find. This house was a gem and we will gladly rent again! Thanks Tim!

Diego was super responsive at all times with clear instructions on how everything worked. He was also very considerate, knowing it was our anniversary, and offered to meet us there or not in case we wanted privacy. Very accommodating, and since there wasn't anyone there the day before, was okay with us checking in an hour early! The nature around us was great if you like to see animals. The same can be said for spiders though. Probably not the best location if you're severely arachnophobic, though the cabin did come stocked with means to dispose of spiders. The cabin was decent, but Diego as the host is what sets this one apart. Will recommend!
