Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Houghton Estate

Genuinely one of the best places I’ve stayed in - the pictures do not do it justice. The hosts are extremely accommodating and went out of their way to make our stay as good as possible. Great location, very safe and secure, easy access for Ubers and food delivery. Would highly recommend!

From the moment we arrived we loved Steve's house! We stayed for almost three months and it became our home during that time. Steve is an amazing host, very helpful and always reachable. The house is very well equipped with what you might need for your stay, especially in the kitchen. The place is quiet and peaceful, and small shopping centers are in walkable distance. The beds are comfortable and there are plenty of extra pillows, blankets and towels in the house. The patio has a lovely sitting area and our toddler loved the small pool. We enjoyed our stay a lot and we are highly recommanding Steve's house for your stay.

We stayed in the Koppies for a family funeral, so mostly spent our time away from the house. The house was clean, comfortable and spacious and close to many good restaurants.

Sean and his family were excellent hosts and treated us more like family rather than clients. They invited our daughter for a party at thier home which made her day! Beautiful serene neighbourhood where we enjoyed morning walkabouts for a refreshing start to the day. The home is fully equipped and so cosy such that we spent more time at home than expected. Truly an unforgettable experience for our family!

The home is in a beautiful neighborhood about a 5 mins drive to Rosebank Mall and 20mins to Sandton. It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable, We felt very safe and even walked for pastries one morning. Restaurants are plentiful in the area. Happy and Steve were extremely helpful and went above and beyond for us.

Howard's place really felt like home. My daughter enjoyed playing with the toys and the pool. The place was well equipped and the little cat, Tiki was so sweet to have around us.

this is a gorgeous place with amazing staff and host. Plenty to do within walking distance. Beautiful waterfall and Shopping trips near. Great neighborhood.

It was a great location, short drive from Rivonia Road. The three bedrooms were particular great for my teens who don't like to share a room. I will definitely stay there again, and I would not hesitate to recommend it,

Pearl and Mamagakwa have an amazing place that needs to be experienced by anyone looking to have a home away from home experience, or a vacation destination, it encompasses both as it is stylish and warm. Check-in was seamless, almost as if I was getting back home from work. Definitely would love to visit again soon. Once again thank you for the awesome stay.

The apartment itself was clean, stylish, and really comfortable, making it a perfect home away from home. Hanna’s place was such a great experience. More so for my kids , they loved every activity the premises had. We felt so safe and at home. Micheal was of so much help and felt even safer and convenient to know that He is within the premises. And Agnes , who came everyday to clean the house was such a breath of fresh air , so kind and helpful. My family and I will definitely come back again , Definitely a home away from home .

I recently booked Mini’s place for my family who were attending a wedding in Houghton. We absolutely loved the place. Quiet, safe, gated community. Gorgeous neighbourhood. The house was much bigger than expected, very clean and well-furnished, and felt like home the minute we stepped inside. Mini was very friendly and kind, and reachable at all times. We would 100% advise booking there and we would definitely come back any time. Thank you, Mini! 🙏🏽

When I saw the place on Airbnb I just fell in love with it.....the day of check in came.... Just from the front door I felt like I'm in heaven on earth. it was more beautiful than what I saw in the pictures. The place is not just beautiful it's sparkling clean, spacious and anything you'll need is available. There's an ice maker in the kitchen and yet thetr was a bucket full of ice kept for us in the Freezer, all the kitchen appliances were available kitchen utensils from spoons, microwave and oven all clean and in working order. Jonathan was just a fone call away if there was anything we needed, he'll go fetch in the store room. I just can't rate this place with a 100% I won't be doing justice to it as it's standards were beyond expectations . Will be coming back for a longer period. Loved and enjoyed my stay there.

It is a lovely and serene place to stay. The home is beautifully maintained, and the caretaker is always on-site, ready to attend to your every need. We felt at home the moment we arrived. The host has truly dedicated themselves to making this house a wonderful place to be. We enjoyed the pool, and there was a delightful dog named Simba who added to our fun. Above all, the property is located in a very secure gated community, making us feel safe throughout our stay. Thank you to Rostan and Austin, the caretaker, for an unforgettable experience. Sergio is amazing, can't even explain how great his been, breath taking literally - Both his places are amazing, both listed her on Air BnB , all places are super clean, his a great host, we communicated so well and he understood all of our needs.
