This is my 4th time staying here and I just booked my next stay in a few months! One of my favorite Airbnbs and hosts on the planet. Candy is an angel, so helpful, flexible, and responsive. And the house is everything I need and more. My favorite parts are: 1) the king room with huge bed, wrap around balcony, and amazing hot tub, 2) the waterfall installation that creates the calmest ambiance in the living room, and 3) the beautiful rooftop views of the whole city and the mountains. I’ve brought friends here and they’re wow’d every time. Cant wait to be back in October!

We couldn't be happier. the location was perfect. Short walks to local bakery, supermarket and restaurants, but still in a quiet neighborhood. Although the house has clearly been remodeled over its life, and so layout is a little unusual everything was convenenient, it had a nice living room with a tv and a beautiful little garden in the back with a covered porch with seating were we could also hang out and enjoy the cool evenings. The kitchen had more than we could possibly need for cooking anything, although we only used it for breakfast. We would definitely stay there again.

My first impression was that the beautiful home belongs in a more upscale neighborhood. I was met by Luigi as I arrived and he was helpful and charming. He personally introduced me to the home and its amenities. THERE WAS BEER in the Fridge! That won me over. The home is within walking distance to all sorts of shopping and a park. I highly recommend Luigi and his home.

If you are expecting a 5 star hotel do not go here. If you are expecting an experience, amazing food, no AC, cold showers, no iron or hair dryer and an amazing rural farm experience that you will never forget then this is the place to go. Extremely good, honest, hard working people. They feed you almost everything they grow or raise and give you the same food they eat or feed their kids. Mary Luz is an amazing person and a great cook. Plenty of other options available in the area to get a farm experience but if you also want a foodie experience then this place is it. As everyone has said rough roads but we had a good suv and got there in 20 minutes after we turned off highway 32. For some people it may take 45 minutes. Expect to get woken up with birds and roosters making a racket around 5:30 am.

This part of Turrialba is beautiful. Perfect weather. And the privacy of the place is amazing. I would come back many times to share with my family and pets.

I can't emphasize enough how much we enjoyed our stay at Ted's place. We had to move unexpectantly and Ted and his family went out of their way to help us during a difficult transition. The house is wonderful--very clean and comfortable, well-stocked and close to everything you need. The neighborhood is a beautiful traditional Tica one and the neighbors are so friendly and welcoming. This is a wonderful place and you won't regret your stay here.

Beautiful and clean appartment complex in a quiet neighbourhood of San Jose. The host was great and met us inside the gate. Highly recommended for long or short stays.

Great affordable place for full country Costa Rican experience. The house is located at the far end of the street on the left. The house was repainted blue (not orange anymore). We really enjoy our stay, we did a charcoal BBQ, walk in the small path and enjoyed the pool. Enersto received us and made a walk through around the property. We had the necessary things to cook, however, bring your cooking oil, spices and dish cloth. Each room has his own bathroom. We didnt had warm water but, it's was fines given the hot weather. Highly recommand this place and the owner!

A refreshing and magical place for those looking for connection with nature. The setting is exceptional, the river allows you to cool off which makes a lot of good with the current temperatures! Werner is a passionate host who received us very well and the visit to his vanilla farm is very rewarding. Thank you so much for the 2 days spent!!!
