There are times when you may need to cancel a stay, service, or experience that guests have already booked. Here's how to cancel reservations the right way.

If hosts have a valid reason they can cancel a reservation without incurring cancellation fees or other consequences from canceling.

If your guest cancels their reservation, we’ll notify you and automatically unblock the dates on your calendar so you can host other guests.

Your guest will be notified immediately via email and given a full refund.

If you want to restore a canceled home reservation, you’ll need to contact the guest to have them book a new reservation.

If your guest changes a monthly stay with less than 30 days notice, you have the option to either enforce or waive your home cancellation policy.

It’s easy to change your cancellation policy once you decide on one that works for you.

If you need to cancel the remainder of a reservation, make sure you message your guest to let them know what’s going on, and then contact us for help.
