How do I travel on Airbnb?

1. Complete your profile.

Create a great profile and upload a profile photo (or two or three!). Build your reputation by getting verified, and hit up your friends for some references. The more information you complete, the more likely hosts are to accept your reservation requests!

2. Search for listings.

Searching on Airbnb is easy! Wish Lists are a fun and visual way for you to save, share, browse, and discover your favorite Airbnb listings from around the corner to around the world. With listings in over 28,000 cities and 190 countries, the possibilities are endless.

If you’ve already got a destination in mind, start your search at the Airbnb homepage. Find some listings you like and contact a few hosts. Then keep an eye on your inbox. Make sure to familiarize yourself with the host’s reviews and the cancellation policy of the listing.

3. Book it!

Submit a reservation request by clicking the Book It button and entering your payment details. Don’t worry, you won’t be charged unless the host confirms your reservation, and you can rest assured that your payment is secure with us. Once you have an accepted reservation you can view your itinerary and billing receipt from your account.

Review your host once you have checked out. Voicing your experience is an essential part of building our trusted community.
