How do I host on Airbnb?

1. Post your face. Sign up, create a great profile, and upload a profile photo (or two or three!). Build your reputation by getting verified, and hit up your friends for some references.

2. List your space. Just click the List Your Space button once you're signed in. Accurately describe your space and select the appropriate amenities to give potential guests a good idea of what your listing has to offer. Customize your pricing by adding a security deposit or cleaning fee to make sure all your needs are met. Don’t forget to set your calendar availability to make sure guests don’t contact you when you’re not available! Lastly, set up a payout method using our payment system so we can be sure to pay you!

3. Book your space. Answer messages and reservation requests from prospective guests in a timely manner using the messaging system. Your response rate and search placement depend on it, so don't keep your potential guests waiting! You can get notifications on-the-go by signing up for text message alerts or downloading the iPhone or Android app. While it's entirely up to you which reservation requests you accept, your listings' search placement could be negatively impacted if you decline many or most reservation requests.  Review your guest once they have checked out. Voicing your experience is an essential part of building our trusted community.
