    What should I do if I can't get in touch with my host?

    Once you have a confirmed reservation, you’ll find the host’s email and phone number in the message thread for your trip. At that point, you’ll have those additional ways of contacting them, along with sending them a message through the message thread, and using the Airbnb app to call them.

    If you’ve already contacted the host, you may want to give them a little time to respond as they may live in a different time zone. If you’re wondering about check-in details and instructions, you’ll find them 3 days before the check-in date on your reservation’s itinerary page.

    Using the Airbnb app to call your host

    To call your host using the Airbnb app:

    1. Open the Airbnb app, go to Trips and tap your trip (if you’re already on your trip, you may need to tap your check-in date to find the call option)
    2. Tap Show more trip plans
    3. Tap Call host

    Note: If you can't find your reservation with the host in your trips, or any message with them in your inbox, get help.
