From time to time Airbnb offers you a discount, a waived fee, or Airbnb Credit on a service you book with a third party — for example grocery delivery, a car rental, a ride, luggage storage, or access to hotel amenities. These Offer Terms govern those offers from Airbnb.
Airbnb is not the provider. The service is provided by the third party identified in the offer, or by that third party's own suppliers. You book and pay for it directly with the third party.
Some offers have their full details on this page; others have their details in the Airbnb communication that presented the offer to you. Section 2 lists the offers with details on this page, and Section 2.10 explains what applies when your offer is not one of them. Section 3 sets out the terms that govern every offer, wherever its details are set out.
Offers are limited, and every offer is subject to Section 3. Section 3.12 explains what "limited" means in practice.
Each offer has its own eligibility rules and structure. Where more than one offer is available from the same provider, check the conditions for each to see which applies to your booking. The two Instacart offers in Sections 2.5 and 2.6 are different offers. The offer Airbnb presents to you determines which one applies. The offer in Section 2.5 includes the delivery fee waiver described in Section 2.6.
How the offer works. When you book a chauffeured ride on Blacklane's platform after using an authorized Airbnb offer link, you may be offered a promotional discount of 10% off the total order price of a ride booking made with Blacklane. The 10% discount is calculated on the total order price including taxes and all other applicable fees, spread across the full booking total — it is not limited to the base fare. There is no minimum order price and no maximum discount.
How the offer works. When you book luggage storage on Bounce's platform after using an authorized Airbnb offer link, you may be offered a promotional discount of 15% off the price of luggage storage booked with Bounce. The 15% discount is calculated on the storage price only and the calculation does not include taxes or fees. There is no minimum booking value and no maximum discount.
How the offer works. When you book a car rental on CarTrawler's platform after using an authorized Airbnb offer link, you may be offered a promotional discount of up to 20% off the car rental price at checkout, funded by the participating vehicle rental supplier you book with. The discount is calculated on the car rental price only and the calculation does not include taxes, fees, insurance, optional add-ons, fuel charges or other ancillary charges. It is determined based on the amount reflected on CarTrawler's platform at the time you complete your booking, and does not include any additional amount that CarTrawler or the vehicle rental supplier charges you at or after vehicle pickup. There is no minimum booking value and no maximum discount. This discount is funded by the participating vehicle rental supplier, not by Airbnb or CarTrawler.
How the offer works. After your car rental booking made on CarTrawler's platform is complete, Airbnb issues you Airbnb Credit worth 20% of your car rental booking value, up to a maximum of $200 USD or the local currency equivalent per reservation. The 20% is calculated on the car rental price only and the calculation does not include taxes, fees, insurance, optional add-ons, fuel charges or other ancillary charges. It is determined based on the amount reflected on CarTrawler's platform at the time you complete your booking, and does not include any additional amount that CarTrawler or the vehicle rental supplier charges you at or after vehicle pickup — including where you extend or alter your rental. There is no minimum booking value. Credit is issued within 60 days after your booking is complete, which may be after you return the vehicle, and expires 2 years after it is issued.

How the offer works. When you order groceries on Instacart's platform after using an authorized Airbnb offer link, and your order meets the minimum order value below, you may be offered two benefits together: your standard delivery fee is waived, and $10 USD is taken off your order at Instacart's checkout. The $10 USD discount is calculated on the total purchase price for all eligible products with one retailer, and the calculation does not include taxes, service fees, priority delivery fees, special handling fees or any other fees. Service and other fees apply. The waiver covers the standard delivery fee only — if you choose a faster delivery option, for example priority or express delivery, that charge is not waived and remains payable. This offer is not available for restaurant orders, gift cards, prescription items, pickup orders, or alcohol orders as described below. The discount is applied automatically at Instacart's checkout.
How the offer works. When you order groceries on Instacart's platform after using an authorized Airbnb offer link, and your order meets the minimum order value below, you may be offered a waiver of your standard delivery fee. Service and other fees apply. The waiver covers the standard delivery fee only — if you choose a faster delivery option, for example priority or express delivery, that charge is not waived and remains payable. This offer is not available for restaurant orders, gift cards, prescription items, pickup orders, or alcohol orders as described below. The waiver is applied automatically at Instacart's checkout. This offer does not include the $10 USD discount described in Section 2.5. If Airbnb presents you with the offer in Section 2.5, that offer applies instead, and it includes this delivery fee waiver.
How the offer works. When you book a hotel or resort day pass on ResortPass's platform after using an authorized Airbnb offer link, you may be offered a promotional discount of 20% off the price of a day pass booked with ResortPass. The 20% discount is calculated on the day pass price only and the calculation does not include taxes, resort fees or other fees, whether that amount is added at checkout or is included within a price displayed to you. There is no minimum booking value and no maximum discount.
How the offer works. When you book a private car service on Welcome Pickups' platform after using an authorized Airbnb offer link, you may be offered a promotional discount of 20% off the price of a private car service booked with Welcome Pickups. The 20% discount is calculated on the ride price only and the calculation does not include taxes, fees, tolls, waiting time or extras. There is no minimum booking value and no maximum discount.
(a) These Offer Terms also apply to any promotional offer on a service you book and pay for on a third party's app or website that Airbnb identifies as subject to them — including where the Airbnb email, message, push notification, web or app page or similar communication presenting the offer links to this page or states that the offer is subject to these Offer Terms. Section 3.5 applies to every such offer: you must reach the third party through the offer link Airbnb presents to you in order to be eligible.
(b) For such an offer, the details given to you in that communication — what you get, what it is calculated on, any minimum or maximum, who provides the service, who is eligible, where it is available, how the offer works, and when it ends — are the specific terms of that offer.
(c) These Offer Terms govern any matter those specific terms do not address.
(d) Where the specific terms of an offer conflict with these Offer Terms, the specific terms control — except that Sections 3.1, 3.5, 3.14 and 3.18, and (if your country of residence or establishment is Australia) Section 4, always apply.
(e) Offers for Services and Experiences you book on Airbnb. If your offer is for a Service or Experience you book and pay for on Airbnb, these Offer Terms do not apply. See Services and Experiences Pre-Booking Offer Terms instead.
3.1. Airbnb is not the provider. The service is provided by the third party identified in the relevant offer, or by that third party's own suppliers — not by Airbnb. A third party's booking experience may appear within the Airbnb app or website, and may use Airbnb branding, logos, fonts or design, so that you may not leave the Airbnb app or website in order to book. Even where that is the case, you are booking and paying with that third party and not with Airbnb, and that third party — not Airbnb — provides the service. The offer and the booking flow identify who provides the service. Where a third party fulfills your booking through its own suppliers, the supplier identified during booking provides the service; for example, a car rental is provided by the vehicle rental supplier you book with, not by the platform you book it on.
3.2. Who you transact with. You book and pay for the service directly with the third party, or with a supplier that party makes available. The third party operates the search, booking and payment experience and manages your booking. That third party or supplier processes your payment. Airbnb is not a party to that transaction and is not the merchant of record for it.
3.3. The third party's terms govern your booking. Your booking is governed by the terms and conditions and privacy policy of the third party and, where applicable, of its supplier — not by the Airbnb Terms. You should review them before you book. These Offer Terms govern only the offer made to you.
3.4. Sharing your information. To receive an offer you must consent to Airbnb sharing limited account and, as applicable, trip and listing information with the third party, as necessary to facilitate and validate your booking and the offer. Sharing this information is a condition of the offer.
3.5. You must use the Airbnb offer link. You must reach the third party through the offer link Airbnb presents to you in order to be eligible, in addition to satisfying the other qualifying criteria for the offer. An offer will not apply to a booking you make with that party directly, or by any other route, even where that party is one Airbnb works with.
3.6. Support and complaints. The third party or its supplier is responsible for customer support for your booking with it. Airbnb is responsible for support relating to your use of Airbnb, including the offer itself and any Airbnb Credit issued to you.
3.7. If your Airbnb reservation changes. An offer may depend on your holding a valid, qualifying Airbnb reservation, as stated in the relevant offer. If that reservation is cancelled or changed before the third party fulfills your booking, the third party may cancel that booking. Any refund, credit or adjustment for your service booking is handled solely by the third party under its own terms.
3.8. How your offer is applied. If you need to take an action to receive an offer — for example entering an offer code, or clicking to claim it — the offer will tell you, and you must take that action for the offer to apply. Where the offer gives no such instruction, it is applied automatically when you complete your eligible booking. Unless the relevant offer says otherwise, an offer cannot be combined with a voucher, promotional code or discount offered by the third party, and only one of those may be applied to a booking.
3.9. Using your offer.
(a) One offer per booking. You can redeem only one Airbnb promotional offer per booking, unless the relevant offer says otherwise. Where an offer provides more than one benefit, or expressly states that it may be combined with another offer on the same booking, those benefits may be combined.
(b) Tied to your account. An offer is tied to the Airbnb account to which Airbnb made it, and only that account may use it. Offers and credits are non-transferable, cannot be redeemed for cash, credit or stored value, and offers held on other accounts cannot be combined on a single booking.
(c) Booking for another person. Unless the relevant offer says otherwise, or the provider's terms or booking flow do not permit it, you may use an offer for a booking you make on behalf of another person, provided you are the account holder to whom Airbnb made the offer.
(d) No retroactive application. An offer does not apply to a booking made before the offer was active, or before it was presented to you, and cannot be applied to a booking you have already made. Only bookings made while the offer is active and available to you qualify.
3.10. What an offer does not cover.
(a) Unless the relevant offer says otherwise, an offer applies only to the amount identified in that offer, and you remain responsible for all other charges and fees. That includes the cost of the items or the service, all applicable taxes, tips, service fees, delivery fees, other platform-specific fees such as bag fees or small-order fees, priority fees, special handling fees, deposits, any other charge the provider applies, and any foreign transaction or currency conversion charge applied by your financial institution.
(b) Where an offer waives a fee, the waiver applies only to the specific fee identified in the offer. A faster, upgraded or optional version of the same service — for example priority or express delivery — is a different charge and is not waived unless the offer says so.
(c) If you already hold a benefit with the provider that waives or reduces the same fee, this offer may not give you any additional benefit. The provider determines whether any additional benefit applies.
(d) Where an offer states an amount in a particular currency, the local currency equivalent is determined by Airbnb or by the provider, as stated in the relevant offer.
(e) Airbnb assumes no liability for the calculation, collection or remittance of any taxes associated with your booking with a third party.
3.11. Airbnb Credit. Where an offer provides Airbnb Credit:
(a) The credit is issued by Airbnb, not by the third party. It is issued only after you have completed the qualifying service, within the period stated in the offer, and to the Airbnb account the offer identifies — which, unless the offer says otherwise, is the account that initiated the booking, whether or not you booked for another person.
(b) The credit can be used only for bookings you make and pay for on Airbnb — an eligible stay, Experience or Service, subject to availability in your location. It cannot be used to pay for a service you book on a third party's app or website, including a service offered to you under these Offer Terms.
(c) The credit is not cash, currency, a stored value product or a gift card product, and cannot be used to buy an Airbnb gift card.
(d) If you change your preferred currency before using the credit, it may be subject to currency conversion at a published rate available at the time you use it.
(e) Airbnb Credit is also subject to the Airbnb Credit Terms and Conditions.
3.12. Availability and limits. Offers are limited. An offer may not be available for every booking, location or date, and (where specified in the offer) may be limited in total quantity or total value. Availability and the amount of an offer may also depend on which providers or suppliers are taking part, which can change at any time; where no participating provider or supplier is available for your booking, the offer is not available to you. If an offer is limited in total quantity, once that offer's allocation is exhausted the offer is no longer available, whether or not its end date has passed. Exhaustion of an allocation prevents an offer from being made or issued; it does not affect a credit already issued to your account.
3.13. "Up to" amounts. Where an offer is described as "up to" an amount or percentage, that figure is the maximum available and the amount you receive may be lower.
3.14. Changes apply prospectively only. Any change to these Offer Terms or to an offer applies only to prospective use of that offer. It will not affect your then-current, live use of an offer in connection with an existing qualifying reservation, or any credit already issued to your Airbnb account. What a credit can be used for is determined when it is issued to you; if Airbnb later changes which stays, Services or Experiences are eligible, or shortens the period in which a credit may be used, that change will not reduce what a credit already issued to your account can be used for or the time you have to use it.
(a) Limited exceptions. Airbnb may reduce or withdraw a credit already issued to your account only where: (i) Airbnb is required to do so by law or by a regulatory authority; (ii) what the credit applies to is no longer available on the Airbnb Platform — for example, where Airbnb no longer offers the kind of booking the credit can be used for; (iii) the credit was issued as a result of a technical or administrative error, or in an amount or to a recipient the offer did not provide for; or (iv) your Airbnb account has been suspended or terminated under the Airbnb Terms.
(b) If an exception applies. Where Airbnb relies on Section 3.14(a) it will notify you. Where Section 3.14(a)(i) or (ii) applies, Airbnb will either provide a substitute of equivalent value or extend the period in which you may use the credit for another eligible booking, unless prevented from doing so by law.
(c) Notice. If a change will materially affect the prospective use of Airbnb Credit already issued to your account, Airbnb will provide notice consistent with the process for modifying the Airbnb Terms.
(d) The offer as presented to you. Where Airbnb has presented an offer to you and you complete a qualifying booking while that offer is still available to you, the terms of the offer as Airbnb presented it apply to that booking, even if Airbnb has since changed the offer for other guests.
3.15. Modification, suspension and withdrawal. Subject always to Section 3.14, Airbnb may modify, suspend, terminate or withdraw any offer or these Offer Terms at any time in its sole and reasonable discretion, including due to unforeseen circumstances, technical issues, fraud prevention concerns, legal or regulatory requirements, a change in which providers or suppliers take part, or exhaustion of promotional allocation. Where an offer is modified it continues on the modified terms; where it is suspended, terminated or withdrawn it ends.
3.16. Eligibility and determinations. Eligibility requirements, including geographic availability and booking qualifications, are determined by Airbnb in its sole and reasonable discretion and are stated in the relevant offer in Section 2 or, for an offer not listed in Section 2, in the communication presenting it. Whether you have met the criteria for an offer is determined by Airbnb in its sole and reasonable discretion and based on its records.
3.17. Account standing, fraud and misuse.
(a) To take part in an offer, your Airbnb account must be in good standing — meaning that your account has not been suspended or terminated under the Airbnb Terms and you are not in violation of our Ground Rules. Airbnb may revoke an unredeemed offer or credit where your account is suspended or terminated under the Airbnb Terms. Airbnb Credit already issued to your account may be reduced or withdrawn only as set out in Section 3.14.
(b) Airbnb reserves the right to any reasonable remedy, including denying an offer or credit, where fraud, tampering, wrongful conduct or other violation of the Airbnb Terms or these Offer Terms is reasonably suspected. Airbnb will notify you of any step it takes under this Section and the reasons for it, unless doing so would prevent or impede the detection or prevention of fraud or other illegal activity, and you may appeal that decision by contacting our customer service.
3.18. The provider is responsible for the service. The provider identified in the relevant offer is solely responsible for the booking and fulfillment of the service, regulatory compliance, licensing and permitting requirements, and all related customer support. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Airbnb makes no representations or warranties about a provider's inventory, availability, pricing or quality, or about the services it provides, and assumes no liability for any performance failure, delay, missed connection, cancellation, property damage or loss, or bodily injury resulting from a booking with a provider. This Section does not apply where the loss was caused by Airbnb's fraud, gross negligence or wilful misconduct, and does not limit any rights or remedies you may have under applicable mandatory law.
3.19. Precedence. These Offer Terms supplement, and are subject to, the Airbnb Terms. Where these Offer Terms conflict with the Airbnb Terms or with the Airbnb Credit Terms and Conditions, these Offer Terms control in relation to an offer, except that any country-specific terms in the Airbnb Terms or the Airbnb Credit Terms and Conditions that apply to you, and any rights you have under applicable mandatory law, continue to apply. Where the details of an offer given to you under Section 2.10 conflict with these Offer Terms, Section 2.10(d) applies.
3.20. Dates on this page. Two dates appear at the top of this page. The "Last Updated" date reflects the most recent change to any part of this page, including adding or removing an offer. The date the terms in Section 3 and Section 4 last changed is shown separately, so you can see when the terms that apply to every offer were last modified. When Airbnb makes material changes to those terms it will post the revised Offer Terms and update that date.
4.1. Discretion, eligibility and records. This Section replaces Sections 3.15 and 3.16. Airbnb will exercise its rights and powers under these Offer Terms, including determining eligibility, offer criteria and location rules and reviewing records, reasonably in the circumstances and in accordance with applicable Australian laws, including the Australian Consumer Law. Airbnb will not make determinations or exercise rights under an offer in its sole discretion where doing so would create a significant imbalance in the parties' rights. Whether you have met the criteria for an offer is a decision made in the sole discretion of Airbnb, acting reasonably in the circumstances. You may appeal a decision by Airbnb by contacting our customer service.
4.2. Modification and termination. Subject always to Section 3.14, Airbnb may modify, suspend, terminate or withdraw any offer or these Offer Terms, or change eligibility rules or redemption methods, at any time acting reasonably in the circumstances, provided that any such change applies only to prospective use of an offer and will not affect your then-current, live use of an offer in connection with an existing qualifying reservation, or any credit already issued to your Airbnb account. If you disagree with a change, or a change materially disadvantages you, you may choose to stop taking part in the offer.
