How do I edit my neighborhood?
Neighborhoods are automatically assigned to a listing from its exact address and cannot be edited. The best way to make sure your listing’s neighborhood is correct is to make sure your address is as accurate as possible.
Neighborhood boundaries are based on extensive research with locals and city experts. Since neighborhoods evolve over time, we are continuously updating our maps to increase their accuracy. If your listing’s neighborhood is a subset of a larger neighborhood, or if two neighborhoods overlap, your listing will show in search results for both neighborhoods.
At this time, not all of our markets have mapped neighborhoods, but we’re actively working on adding more. If no neighborhoods are available, the search results will not display a neighborhood filter.
Many travelers search by landmark or view a search by map when they aren’t familiar with neighborhood names and locations. We encourage you to write a robust description of your listing so guests know your opinion of the surrounding neighborhood when looking at your listing’s page.
We aim to show neighborhoods in an objective light and take multiple viewpoints into account when creating Neighborhoods pages. If you feel your listed neighborhood is wrong or information regarding a neighborhood is incorrect, you can provide direct feedback here: www.airbnb.com/locations/home/feedback
While not all feedback will make it to the site or receive a response, we encourage you to share your knowledge and opinions.
