Experiences on Airbnb are designed to be about both the activity and the people you'll meet. When you book an experience on Airbnb, you can see other guests going on the experience, and choose whether or not to share your profile with a simple privacy control.
On the experience’s public listing page, you may see the profile photos and the region associated with guests who have already booked an experience. These guests have chosen to share their profile.
After you book an experience, shared profiles of other guests will be visible in:
When you go on an Airbnb experience, you can choose to share your profile with other guests. Your profile is always shared with hosts and others in your travel group, and you can also choose to share your profile with other guests attending an experience.
You can choose to share your profile for an experience at any time. If you choose to share your profile, your photo and the country or state associated with where you live (your hometown) will appear on the public guest list for the experience. Your profile will also be visible to all other guests who book the experience.
If you choose not to share your profile, no photo or profile details will be shared with other guests outside of your travel group (people who share your reservation) before or during the experience. Your profile won’t show in Connections, or the group message thread for people outside of your travel group. Those outside of your travel group will not be able to send you a direct message either.
Know that your profile will be accessible from any reviews you leave after the experience, any prior or future trips you leave reviews on, and may be shared if you have a future trip or experience with the same people. Even if you don’t share your profile with other guests, your profile will always be shared with your travel group and the hosts of your experience.
