Connections is a way to stay in touch with the people you travel with on Airbnb.
To view your Connections, click or tap Profile, and then open Connections and select the profile you want to view. Connections appear on your Profile after a trip ends.
After joining, guests will appear as travelers on the reservation and everyone on the reservation will be able to view each other's profiles. Guests still have the ability to remove themselves from the reservation, or be removed, before a trip ends.
Other guests' first names, photos, and their profile information will be viewable from the trip details, the group message thread, and from Connections in your Profile.
After the trip, guests in your travel group will still appear in Connections, allowing you to easily access each other's profiles and stay in touch on Airbnb.
Guests joining experiences will also have the option to share their profile with all guests going on the experience, including guests not on the same reservation. When you choose to share your profile on an Experience, it’s a great way to connect with other guests you meet and stay in touch after the Experience.

You can message your connections directly on Airbnb. This is a great way to keep in touch with people you travel with, or meet on experiences.
For guests you’ve met on experiences, you can message guests who have shared their profile within experiences listed within Connections. You will have access to other guest’s profiles from past experiences in People from your Experiences.
To ensure we respect guest privacy and preferences, the first message sent between guests on an experience will be a message request. This will require the recipient to accept the first message before additional messages can be sent.
If you want to limit messages being sent from someone you met on an experience, you can block them to close existing message threads and limit new message threads.
If you choose to message someone on an experience, and your profile was not shared on that experience, you will be prompted to share your profile with the guest before you send them a message request.
You can also remove a Connection directly from their profile. Select the Connection's profile, then click or tap Remove connection
Note: Removing a Connection will result in that person’s removal from your Connections list post-trip, but won’t impact your past trips details or the visibility of your Airbnb profile. The Connection won’t be notified. If you decide to remove a Connection, any direct messages will remain open; if you travel with them again, they will be re-added as a Connection. You can limit who sees your profile by reporting and blocking users.
If you are private on an experience, and want to send a message to someone you met on an experience, you will need to share your profile with them in order to send a message request.
