What does an adjustment on my Transaction History mean?

An adjustment is an amount of money a host owes to Airbnb. You can check on the status of adjustments at any time at Account > Transaction History.

You may have an adjustment on your account because of a guest cancellation or reservation alteration that resulted in a lower reservation total, a violation of our Guest Refund Policy, or because you decided to refund your guest for another reason. In addition, if you cancel a reservation, an adjustment may appear for the host cancellation fee.

An adjustment is automatically deducted from the next scheduled payout or payouts until it's fully collected. When an adjustment hasn’t been processed yet, the amount appears on the Future Transactions tab of your Transaction History. When an adjustment has been processed it appears on the Completed Transactions tab.
