While host photos are always visible on Airbnb, guest profile photos aren’t shown until after the host has accepted the reservation. Additionally, while a profile photo is recommended for all Airbnb users, it’s not mandatory for guests, although guests will be required to add a photo to confirm a reservation.
Once you've uploaded a profile photo, you can replace it by editing. If you want to remove your photo, you'll need to select a new one—simply deleting it isn't an option.
