About Airbnb.org
Airbnb.org is a nonprofit organization that partners with other nonprofits to provide people with emergency housing in times of crisis.
Through our Open Homes and Frontline stays initiatives, we’ve worked with communities to help people in times of need since 2012. Airbnb.org builds upon these efforts in order to help even more people.
How it relates to Airbnb
Airbnb.org is an independent organization with an independent board of directors, but Airbnb covers its operating costs so that community donations go even further to support people in times of crisis.
Airbnb.org is an approved, tax-exempt public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to organizations with 501(c)(3) status may be tax deductible.
How you can help
You can support Airbnb.org by hosting or donating. Hosts may choose to host Airbnb.org stays for free or donate a percentage of each payout. These Hosts have an Airbnb.org supporter badge on their profiles to recognize their contributions and help spread the word to our community.
