    How do I refund my Airbnb Experience guest?

    If you need to refund an online or in-person experiences guest, you can send money directly through the Resolution Center or from your calendar.

    Guest cancellations within the cancellation window

    If a guest cancels within the cancellation window, they will be automatically refunded and will receive their refund within 10 business days. No action is required on your part.

    Refunding a guest who already attended your experience:

    1. Go to your calendar, choose the instance your guest booked, and click Send refund
    2. In the Resolution Center, click Send money
    3. Select the guest (and if applicable, which experience and date) you want to send money to, and click Next
    4. Select Other trip-related issues, and click Next
    5. Choose the payment type and amount, add a note, and click Next
    6. Verify that all information is correct and click Send

    Refunding a guest who canceled before the experience, outside the cancellation window: 

    1. Go to the Resolution Center
    2. Click Send money
    3. Select the guest (and if applicable, which experience and date) you want to send money to, and click Next
    4. Select Refund for cancellation, and click Next
    5. Confirm the payment type and amount, add a note, and click Next
    6. Verify that all information is correct and click Send

    Host cancellations

    If you need to cancel your reservation at any time, locate it in your calendar, and select Cancel experience. Your guests will be automatically refunded, and will receive their refund within 10 business days. For more information, refer to the experience host cancellation policy.
