    How do I set up, manage, and remove team members as an Airbnb Experience host?

    You can add a co-host or assistant to your team to help you lead guests or manage your experience.

    Adding team members

    Your team members will need to join Airbnb before they can start helping you host or manage your experience. Once you send them an invite, they will need to accept it and their information will need to be reviewed by Airbnb before they can start helping.

    How to add a co-host

    1. On your Edit experience page under General settings, click Team
    2. Click Add a team member
    3. Choose Co-host and click Next
    4. Acknowledge that they meet the quality standards and click Next
    5. Choose which permissions you want your co-host to have and click Next
    6. Enter your co-host’s email address and click Invite (your co-host will receive your invite in an email, but you can also invite them through the Share an invite link)
    7. Click Done

    How to add an assistant

    1. On your Edit experience page under General settings, click Team
    2. Click Add a team member
    3. Choose Assistant and click Next
    4. Choose which permissions you want your assistant to have and click Next
    5. Enter your assistant’s email address and click Invite (your assistant will receive your invite in an email, but you can also invite them through the Share an invite link)
    6. Click Done

    Note: If you’ve added a co-host or an assistant and they don’t show up on your experience settings page, they may not have accepted your invite or verified their ID. 

    Removing team members

    How to remove a co-host

    1. On your Edit experience page under General settings, click Team
    2. Choose which co-host you want to remove and click the three dots menu ()
    3. Select Remove and click Confirm

    How to remove an assistant

    1. On your Edit experience page under General settings, click Team
    2. Choose which assistant you want to remove and click the three dots menu ()
    3. Select Remove and click Confirm

    If you add or remove a co-host or an assistant, both of you will receive a confirmation email.

    Editing permissions

    1. On your Edit experience page under General settings, click Team
    2. Choose which assistant you want to remove and click the three dots menu ()
    3. Select Edit permissions
    4. Check or uncheck the box that represents each permission you want to give your team
    5. Click Save
