Review tags

When browsing the reviews for a particular listing, you may notice descriptive tags that display above all the reviews or next to a single review. These tags are designed to help you find reviews that may be relevant for your trip.

Tags that display next to a single review

Each review indicates when it was posted. By that indicator, you may notice one of these tags:

  • Long stay: stays where the guest(s) stayed for at least 28 days
  • Weekend trip: reviews of weekend stays that started on a Friday or Saturday and ended on a Sunday
  • Last minute trip: any stays booked less than 2 days in advance
  • Group trip: reviews of stays with at least 4 adults and no children or infants
  • Family trip: review of stays with at least one child or infant.

Tags that display above all of the reviews

On some listings, you may notice tags that display above all of the reviews. Those tags highlight any topics that frequently appeared in the reviews. For example, if lots of guests complimented the listing for its great location, you’ll see a tag that says, “Great location.” Click or tap on any tag to quickly filter and read reviews that are related to it.

Tags that you may notice on homes include “Great location,” “Clear instructions,” “Comfy bed,” and more.

These tags may or may not be displayed depending on the search options you’ve chosen for your particular stay. Find more about who can read reviews about you.
