    How do I cancel a reservation as a host of a place to stay?

    To cancel a reservation:

    1. Go to Today and click Show all 
    2. Find the reservation you need to cancel
    3. Click the three dots menu  and select Change or cancel to start the cancellation process

    If the check-in time is within 24 hours, the option to cancel online may not be available—you'll need to contact us.

    Cancellation penalties

    Canceling a guest's reservation can have serious implications on their trip, so penalties will be applied unless the cancellation reason meets certain limited exceptions.
