Change the date or time of your service or experience reservation

If you booked a service or experience, but the date or time no longer works for you, don’t worry, you don’t have to miss out! You may be able to change your reservation, depending on your host’s availability and their cancellation policy.

Rebook if you’re within your host’s cancellation period

If you’re within the free cancellation period of your service or experience reservation, you can cancel and instantly rebook for any other available time and date on the host’s calendar.

The price might vary depending on the new date you select, but you’ll be able to review any changes in the total cost before you finalize the change.

Request to change your reservation if you’re outside your host’s cancellation period

If you’re outside your host’s cancellation window, you can send your host a request to change your reservation. They’ll review it and either accept or decline the request.

If they accept it, then you’ll have a new reservation and you’re good to go. If your host rejects it, and you can’t make the original date and time, you won’t receive a refund—unless one of the circumstances outlined in our guest cancellation policy for services and experiences applies to your reservation, or if the host, at their discretion, agrees to give you a full refund.

If the options don’t work for you, you can request to book a date or time that’s not on your host’s calendar or you can cancel your reservation.
