Airbnb and Delta Air Lines® have partnered so that qualifying stays, experiences, and services bookings on Airbnb can earn Delta miles. You’ll connect your SkyMiles and Airbnb accounts, then book within a 10-day window when you visit from Delta to earn miles. See Delta Terms & Conditions for more information.
1. Connect your Delta and Airbnb accounts
Start at Delta’s partnership page and follow prompts to connect your Delta and Airbnb accounts. You’ll see confirmation on Airbnb when your accounts have been connected and you’re eligible to earn miles.
2. Book during the 10-day window or renew your eligibility
After connecting accounts, you have a 10-day window to book and earn miles. Once the 10-day window expires, you’ll need to return to Delta to renew your eligibility for another 10 days. Your accounts must be connected until the completion of your booking in order to earn miles.
3. See your estimated miles before you book
When your Delta connection is active and you’re within the eligibility window for an eligible listing, you’ll see an estimation of miles you can earn on the checkout page.
4. Renew at any time
If the 10-day window expires, you will not be eligible to earn miles. Return to Delta to renew your eligibility for another 10 days.
You'll earn Delta miles when you book and complete a qualifying stay, experience, or service directly on Airbnb.com or the Airbnb app when booking within the 10-day window. All stays and experiences are eligible for miles. Some services are fulfilled by third-party partners and bookings for them are completed on a partner site and do not qualify for mileage earn. Additionally, certain services bookings don't qualify for miles. These excluded services are:
Miles estimates are based on the final amount you paid for the booking (including base price, applicable Airbnb fees, certain pass-through fees), excluding government taxes and fees, resort fees charged by hotels, and after any discounts, coupons, offers, incentives, or refunds. Currency is converted before miles are calculated.
Keep in mind:
Miles are deposited after your qualifying stay, experience, or service is completed. While they often post sooner, please allow up to 6–8 weeks for Delta to deposit miles to your SkyMiles account.
If your qualifying stay, experience, or service has been completed and more than 8 weeks have passed since your completed activity without your miles being awarded, reach out to Delta to request miles.
To submit your request, first select Other SkyMiles Partners, then complete the rest of the form with the required information and include a screenshot of your Airbnb booking confirmation email with estimated miles earned and a screenshot of your Past Trips tab in Airbnb to show you have completed the trip.
Once Delta has your completed request, including the Airbnb booking confirmation, Delta will work as quickly as possible to validate your activity and eligibility. Once your activity is verified you can expect any missing miles to be posted within 21 days.
You can disconnect or switch your SkyMiles and Airbnb accounts.
To disconnect your Delta SkyMiles and Airbnb accounts, go to Profile > Privacy > Connected Services. If you want to switch accounts, first disconnect your SkyMiles account, and then connect the desired SkyMiles account through Delta.
Disconnecting your Delta SkyMiles and Airbnb accounts removes Delta Air Lines from your Airbnb account. You can always reconnect accounts in the future by going back to Delta.
If you want to switch the SkyMiles account connected to your Airbnb account, you’ll need to disconnect the connection first by going to Profile > Privacy > Connected Services. Then, go to Delta and connect the desired SkyMiles account.
Keep in mind if you disconnect your Delta SkyMiles and Airbnb accounts after making a booking, but before completing a qualifying stay, experience, or service, you won’t earn miles for that booking.
