Marina Beach House

Great place! Loved the pedal boat option. Perhaps not so ideal if you have toddlers because the staircase does not have rails. Minor issue really and other than that we had a good stay.

'Merlot' - tranquil rustic ground floor apartment

AnthonyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Marelize met us at the property. Beautiful and peaceful setting, lovely large apartment, good covered outside space with table chairs and braii. Shaded and secure parking. Fully equipped kitchen, huge bathroom with good shower, bath and washing machine. Nice bedroom with plenty of hanging space and drawers. Comfortable lounge with sofas, table and chairs and big tv. Airer, iron, ironing board all supplied. Plenty of wine - red and white at a good price with an honesty box. We used the braii our first night and it was spotless the next day. Marelize also offered to drive us to the wine tram station for a small fee. Franschhoek is a beautiful area, great shopping and restaurants and you are within walking distance from the property to three vineyards and a brewery, all offering great wine, beer and food - forget the tram and just walk from here. Excellent stay and we will return.

Luxury romantic apartment at the ocean 1h CapeTown

Luke KroneRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was deep exhale from the rush of everyday life. We spent slow mornings listening to the ocean and quiet evenings watching the sun set over False Bay. It is a rare kind of place that leaves you softer, quieter, and more connected to yourself. Thank you Eva and Marina, you will see us soon again. ✨❤️

Sea Chi: Wake Up to Wave-Scented Air & Ocean Views

MarenRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Andrew's apartment is very tasteful and beautifully furnished - those who love art and many small loving details will feel very comfortable there. The view from the bed across the terrace extends to the sea and the Sea Point Promenade. Andrew and the housekeeping (thanks to Portia for the flexibility) are incredibly friendly. The Oranjezicht Market and the Waterfront are within walking distance (or for little money by Uber). Street parking is not a problem! I would only recommend this apartment to noise-sensitive people (traffic and if it's bad, the lighthouse, but only in fog). In summary, great location, safe and cozy!

Apartment on Windon vineyard,Stellenbosch

I spent a week at Julie and Ian’s for some R&R after working in Cape Town for a few weeks before heading back to the UK. Window is exquisite. Great amenities, well appointed with top class fixtures and fittings (le creuset everything 👍🏼). It’s a haven’t of peace within easy reach of everything within the winelands. Bed is incredibly comfy and wonderful views from the balcony. Nothing is too much trouble for Ian or Julie. So welcoming and helpful and it was absolutely a home from home. Urge anyone who stays to take advantage of the walks around the estate, take in the zebra, wildebeest and springbok in the game reserve and taking a dip and sunbathe at their private dam and decking. Thanks so much Ian and Julie, I had a great week and hope to be back again.

Yellowwood Cottage

RubenRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It was in a lovely safe neighborhood with coffee and breakfast facilities close by. Also it was really close to a beautiful quiet beach. The house was modern, cosy and clean. It had everything you could ask for. The only minor things were that the neighbors have a direct view on the garden and swimming pool so it’s not the most private. And that they were rebuilding a house next door, which came with some noise. Other than that it was really nice!
The cottage showcases a wooden hot tub positioned near a stylish outdoor bar, featuring a wine bucket and glasses. The view includes a well-maintained garden area and the inviting facade of the cottage, framed by lush greenery and clear blue skies.

Very peaceful and quiet spot yet easily walkable into Franschhoek centre with lots of lovely restaurants and shops and of course the wine tram! We loved the stunning view of the mountains and the outdoor area with hot tub as well as bath/shower was pretty cool! Nicola was a great host, very responsive and clear instructions - the cottage itself is comfy and very private and we loved the natural surroundings. Great for exploring the wonders of Franschhoek!

Gull's Nest

NicoleRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Super host indeed. Felt fortunate to share their family holiday home. It added to the warmth of family feeling for myself and my family as we spent Christmas at the holiday house. We spent far too little time and needed just another few days. I have not seen my parents that content in a long time. It was homely and had everything I needed, especially over the Christmas time. Sharps knives, nice stemmed wine glasses, more than sufficient and a nice variety of crockery and cutlery to entertain. An old time family holiday home. Where memories are preserved. Thanks Gill, see you soon!

A Perfect Getaway in Stellenbosch We had the most wonderful stay at Mariska’s place in Stellenbosch. From start to finish, it was a truly peaceful and perfect experience. The setting is absolutely magical — waking up to a breathtaking view of Table Mountain felt like a dream. Mariska was a warm and thoughtful host, and everything was just as described (if not better!). The space was beautifully maintained and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. It felt like a slice of paradise tucked away in the winelands. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to unwind and soak up the beauty of the area. We’ll definitely be back!
