Check-in procedures:
The day of your arrival, the code for the front door will be sent to you along with our cell phone number, should you need to contact us. This information will come through the Airbnb app. Your code will not change for the duration of your stay.
During your stay:
The wifi is reelparadise and the password is wegofishing
We provide bath towels (not for beach use), bedding, pillows, sheets, dishes, cookware, and utensils. Please bring your own beach towels.
You have full and exclusive access to our beach cabin with the following exceptions: the garage, the right cabinet beside the refrigerator (it has a lock on it), and the cabinet above the refrigerator are for owner use only.
Do not keep bait in the refrigerator.
For allergy reasons, we have a no-pet policy.
No parties are to be hosted at the beach cabin.
Our beach cabin is strictly non-smoking. This includes vaping. If you smoke, please smoke outside and dispose of the butts properly.
Our beach cabin is on a sensitive septic system. Please do not flush sanitary products, wipes, paper towels, Q-tips, cotton balls, or sex prophylactics.
Only use septic-safe toilet tissue, such as Scott’s 1000, if more tissue is needed than what was provided. Excess food waste must be discarded in the trash can, and dishes must be rinsed before putting them in the dishwasher.
To operate the master bathroom shower, turn on the water and then pull down on the bottom ring of the faucet to activate the shower.
Please use the exterior hose or outside shower to rinse sandy items and feet before entering the house.
Trash pickup days are Mondays and Thursdays. Be sure to place all garbage in the green trash bin by the street for garbage collection.
We spray for bugs and insects regularly, but you are near water, and bugs like it there, especially mosquitoes. It is highly recommended to use bug spray if you are going to be enjoying the outdoors.
Be sure that all vehicles are completely on the parking pads. Do not park cars and trucks under the beach cabin, although you are welcome to park your golf cart, ATV, UTV, etc.. under the beach cabin.
Our neighborhood is safe and friendly, but it is always a good idea to lock your vehicles.
Should you need groceries and pretty much anything else, the Big Store is located close by.
If you are planning a visit to Galveston, the ferry landing is about 15 minutes on Highway 87. The ferries are free and run 24 hours a day. Ferry wait times vary, so make sure to plan accordingly.
You will also need a beach driving pass to drive on the beaches. The pass is good for the year of purchase and is $10. The passes are available at many locations in Bolivar.

Please be aware and courteous of our neighbors. They work hard and live in the community. We want you to have a good time, but do your best to be conscientious of them. We want to offer a great place to stay at affordable prices, and keeping our neighbors happy is important to us.
Check out procedures:
Empty all trash in the outside garbage container.
Turn out all lights and set the thermostat to 80 degrees if air conditioning season or 58 degrees if heating season before exiting the property. It helps us keep costs down.
Load dirty dishes in the dishwasher.
Place all used towels in the shower in the bathrooms with the washer and dryer. Please do not take the sheets and comforters off the beds.
A broom and a vacuum are stored in the cabin. Please do a basic cleaning before you leave.
Should you choose to use the grill, please empty cooled ashes appropriately.
Be sure to close any windows you may have opened, and lock the front door. Replace the sliding door security bar if used. To lock the front door, simply push the lock button and wait to hear a single beep. Be sure to test the door that it is locked.
Be sure to do a final check for any personal belongings.
