Sleeps up to 6 people (1 double bed, 2 x double sofa beds all in separate rooms), The Sty and The Stable (with a nod to its former uses in years gone by), offers free parking and all of the amenities you'd need for a comfortable stay.
Situated directly in front of a working dairy farm, the property also has its own small holding that includes the resident pig 'George', ducks, chickens, dogs and many more family pets.

Other things to note
There’s an extendable pole inside the property to close the roof window blinds at night too as that will keep it toasty inside and keep it dark during light mornings. 🌙

There’s a fridge, toaster, kettle, microwave oven grill (instructions are under the microwave to help you with oven/grill settings), an air fryer, a slow cooker, a two plate hob and all cutlery, plates and pans etc. 🍳

All bedding for the sofa beds are inside of them and there is a mattress topper for each, as well as additional blankets to help make everything as comfy and cosy as you require. 🛌

There’s a full info pack in the property which should answer any questions, including details for having takeaways delivered or the nearest pubs and bars for meals etc if you need them. Also, just a reminder that this is a self-catering property and to please note the closest shop is a Co-op approx 1 mile away in Warwick Bridge or a large Tesco superstore about 3 miles away on the outskirts of Carlisle city centre, in case you want to grab anything en route. 🛒

We usually let guests self check in so that they can make themselves at home 🏡

There are 2 parking spaces available for guests on the right hand side of the drive behind each other. 🅿️

I love to travel, experience the world and have a love for nature and all of its many wonders. Cumbria has been home all my life and with access to the beautiful scenery and history that is on our doorstep, I wanted to share that experience with anyone that would like to come and stay with us. We (myself and my young family) live on our own little smallholding with a pig called George, ducks, chickens, dogs and lots more. We all muck in to look after all of the animals and do all of the jobs that keep our home ticking. It is our own little haven filled with love and happiness (and the occasional argument because we’re human and normal!). We look forward to welcoming you.
