Nestled on Tsimshian Territory in a quiet neighborhood in the beautiful mountainous town of Terrace is 'Cedars Rest', an epic display of everything wonderful and beautiful about British Columbia, Canada. The community of Terrace is surrounded by stunning First Nations culture including an abundance of nature activities that are highly revered by the outdoor enthusiast; something for every season. Perfect also for the business stay offering a home-like environment from a long day.

The space
Cedars Rest is a beautifully renovated lower suite specifically designed to capture the essence of being in beautiful BC Canada. The suite is surrounded by exquisite First Nations art as well as other art produced by BC artists. With nature inspired furnishings, cotton linens, and fine dishes and ware, Cedars Rest brings the BC outdoors to you in a comfortable, luxurious, quiet and private environment. The location of Cedars Rest also offers the benefit of a high level of confidentiality due to its secluded and private property minutes from downtown.

The suite comfortably fits 4 people. There are 3 sleeping areas; a double bed, a queen bed , and a queen size sofa bed whic means you will lose the living room space. The space is much more comfortable with 4 guests at a time.

Although there are means to cook simple meals, this is NOT a full kitchen. The bathroom which is exclusive only to guests is to the left of the main entrance.
In addition, the Royal Feline Ambassador of Cedars Rest will most likely greet you at the door. Her name is Scrim. Please don’t let her outside -😁

Guest access
The designated guest space is in the suite downstairs. However, if you would like to, or need to have clothing laundered just let one of us know.
If there are any special requests required during your stay, please don’t hesitate to communicate those to us.

Cedars Rest is located just minutes from downtown. Beautiful walking trails just minutes from your entrance. This is a fabulous location to enjoy all that Terrace has to offer. Cedars Rest is located at the end of a dead end street in a quiet neighborhood. A 20 min walk, or 2 min drive to downtown shops, restaurants, coffee shop, library, Aquatic center, park, and Skeena Mall. It is also close to mountain biking and hiking trails up Terrace Mountain. Most notably, the area offers World Class fishing on the Skeena River, and world renowned skiing at the Shames Mountain Ski Hill - Canada’s first ever locally-run-cooperative ski resort. Shames also offers Back country skiing for the extreme enthusiast, only a 37 km drive away. Terrace also has 'Northern Escape' for your Heli-skiing experience. Onion Lake Cross Country Ski Trails located half way between Kitimat and Terrace offers beautifully kept trails to enjoy pristine, breathtaking cross country skiing.
