Welcome to Shyama Bungalow - our serene & stunning Bali-style getaway.

With blush lime-wash walls, hanging cane chairs, spacious velvet couch, open kitchen, and lush plants. It is the perfect place for a big group of friends or family, or a company or curated retreat.

Centrally located in Bhilar, just a 5 mins from Panchgani, 15 min to Mahabaleshwar. Surrounded by trees, greenery, chirping birds, fresh cool air, blue sky and multiple large terraces to lie + watch the stars.

The space
Spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bath house, with large common area, open kitchen, multiple outdoor terraces, and parking for two cars.

The kitchen comes fully equipped with all cooking utensils, pots, pans, pressure cooker, crockery, cooking oil, masala, sugar, tea and coffee.

There are several spacious terrace - one with a fire pit for evening bon fires, another 2nd story terrace ideal for yoga and star-gazing and a third outdoor sit out with mattresses and pillows.

There are two large bedrooms, ideally set up to host groups. The first bedroom has two queen beds, 2 large single bunks (3.5''x6.5''), cabinets with locks for 6 people and bathroom.

The second large bedroom has 4 bunk beds (all 3.5''x6.5'') and cabinets with locks for 4 people.

All bathrooms are kitted out with the best fittings and instant geisers.

The space is lovely, you have to feel the vibe yourself to understand!

Guest access
The whole house is yours! Including the multiple outside spaces and terraces. The kitchen is fully equipped with 3-burner gas stove, bhela + tava, masalas, sugar, salt, oil and all you need to feed your family and friends.

Sheets, towels, blankets, hand towels, toilet paper and natural soap all provided.

MEALS: If you like, we can arrange all of your meals so you can experience local Marathi cuisine and forget about cooking! Let us know in your booking and we can arrange 1-3 meals a day of Marathi cuisine (for additional cost). Choice of Veg or Non-Veg.

Kunal is Bombay-Bred and Australia raised. Loves loud speakers, and big parties and balancing it with daily mediation ;) We have both travelled this whole dang planet, spending our 20's living in Melbourne, Australia. What an amazing life there! Now we've returned to Kunal's motherland - India - and are permaculture farmers in Panchgani, Maharashtra. Growing our food, healing the soil and blasting our speakers on loud.
