Newly remodeled home! Ground level, no stairs on property.

We are on a canal that has DIRECT ACCESS to the gulf of mexico. Why is this important? This means you don't have to worry about getting your boat on a boat lift, not to mention an additional 30-40 minutes idling just to get to this lift.

Our large dock can accomodate large boats or multiple small ones.

Bring your boat, or rent one nearby (5 minutes away). Boat ramp is also around 5 minutes away.

No boat, no problem! Enjoy our provided kayaks and lifejackets. Or fish right from the dock! Lots of mangrove snappers - easy for kids - lots of other fish around, too. We're on a very deep canal (30feet deep) and extra wide canal so plenty of room! Bring your favorite fishing rods, or buy one for $20 at the live bait store 5 minutes away.

LOCATION:

- 5 minutes from lots of local bars and restaurants on Shoal LIne blvd
- 10 minutes from Weeki Wachee State Park (watch live mermaids, or enjoy the water slides in the summer or weekends at Bucaneer Bay!)
- 10 minutes from the Weeki Wachee River - in the winter this is where you'll find manatees gathering, since the river is warm at 71-74 degrees year round. They're here year round, too, just more of them in the winter.
- 15 minutes away is everything else you need: Starbucks, Walmart, Publix, Burger King, other chain restaurants, etc...
- 45 minutes away is Homosassa - home of the "swim with manatee" tours. Or take an airboat tour.
- 1 hour and 15 minutes away is Clearwater Beach, one of the top beaches in America, named #1 several times.

Don't feel like doing anything? Lounge around in our screened-in porch area, or sit and watch the beautiful view on any of the adirondack chairs in the backyard.

Neighborhood highlights

Poised on the calm, relatively shallow Gulf of Mexico, Hernando Beach is a sun-baked, thriving community laced with canals. It’s where boats live and launch from marinas and backyard docks. It’s home to second homes, families, retirees and visitors thrilled with their coastal discovery.

Nature is evident throughout Hernando Beach. It’s bounded by the 11,206 acre Weeki wachee Preserve, home to a mosaic of wildlife, lakes and trails. To the west is the languid Gulf of Mexico. This central region of Florida’s Gulf coast boasts a lush estuary. Tidal marshes and flats host abundant wildlife such as manatee, dolphin and otter. Sandhill Cranes, herons, ibis and egrets strut about the neighborhood. Wild turkeys roam the brush. Bald eagles and osprey are frequent sights among the treetops or soaring overhead.

Offshore, healthy seagrass beds are habitat to a biodiverse array of marine life including fish, sea turtles, invertebrates and, everyone’s favorite bivalves between July and September: scallops.

Fine and casual dining choices – some waterfront – abound for breakfast, lunch and at day’s end. Spent the day on the water fishing or scalloping? Bring your catch to some of the “You Hook It, We Cook It” establishments for a savory, fun experience. And of course, with the Gulf of Mexico as backdrop, daily Technicolor sunsets glow as their own form of entertainment in this coastal community so rich with natural beauty.
