Modern country home (entire lower level, 1200 sq. feet) with magnificent views of the West Elk Mountains. Excellent internet (fiber optic) that runs at about 145 mbps. The area is well known for dark skies and great star gazing. Unlimited outdoor activities, superb wine tasting at local vineyards and easy access to Telluride, Aspen and Crested Butte. Very private space in lower level with walkout patio. Spacious bedroom has one queen bed. Two twin beds are in the oversized common space.

Off street parking, walking distance to Main Street shops, Western Campus, restaurants, and grocery. Open layout with lots of sunshine and views of the Gunnison Valley. One block to bus stop to Crested Butte, 30 minutes to the north. Central location perfectly suited for a basecamp to adventure in the Gunnison Valley. Among guest favorites is the full sized washer and dryer to freshen up from the day’s excursion. Those wishing to bring a pet, please contact host rather than instant book.

Blue Mesa Reservoir Cabin 1

Step back in time and stay in a historic cabin that was once in the original Sapinero town that is now at the bottom of the Blue Mesa Reservoir. This newly remodeled cabin has some nice conveniences such as a fridge and freezer with running hot and cold water, Hot pot, stocked kitchen with plates, cups, utensils, Charcoal grill outside along with a fire pit. We have a beautiful remodeled Bath house that has a sink, shower, and toilet. We do have satellite wifi throughout the campground.

This Cottage is truly a place to get away for a romantic weekend! Your year round destination, all seasons have something special to offer. Hiking, biking, and water sports in the spring, summer and fall. National Park, Black Canyon of the Gunnison is 6 miles away. For the winter traveler we have three ski resorts an hour away in each direction. And as always, sightseeing in the fresh mountain air can’t be beat! Our bedding is top notch as well as our towels!
